I heard some of the truck throw an error if you swap the mirrors for one's without the blind spot. 

Of course. Not at all. Truck works perfectly fine. I can still control the mirrors via the controls on the driver door.

The GM bedside boxes DO fit with a bed cover with a little modification. Not 100% for sure if I'm going to keep them or not.

I found them locally for sale. They are GM. They stopped making them last year.

 

I'm in Indiana. I'd hate to have to ship these.

Painted prior to install. Just ordered a can of touch-up paint to match my color code.

Was able to score this locally. No more DFM, auto stop or exhaust drone. Actually looking forward to that morning commute tomorrow 

 

Just a quick up date. Absolutely night and day. First no auto stop..  THANK YOU! Second less worry about lifter malfunction. And lastly throttle response in 2 is perfect for day to day. There's enough oomph to make it feel like it should have came.. But in all honestly I keep finding myself flippinf up to '3' as man it's just so much fun

Sorry for the late reply.  I believe my OEM mirrors were code DEZ. 
 

This is what I ordered from Boost. 
And, everything works.  Plus, I have the blinker in the mirror glass now, however, it’s quite bright and somewhat distracting.  I’m confident I’ll get used to it though…
