First time GM owner. Until Wendesday, I had previously ONLY owned Toyotas. Wife, new baby, and I took our brand new 19' Silverado Custom Trail Boss to the mountains for some fly fishing, picnicking, and forest road exploring, this weekend and REALLY ENJOYED THIS TRUCK.

I really like how this truck is spec'd. Chrome bumpers with black window trim & door handles. I'd prefer black mirror caps but overall this is looking really good.

Did you pick this off a lot or custom order it?

Straight off the lot, the only thing I wish I had was Z71. Oh well. :/

Headed there on Saturday for the 1st road trip with the rst. Curious to see how the 22's handle the beach drive.

Any recommendations for must do's while there? Staying in Carova Beach.

Not really. Just maybe head into Duck, and get a Duck Donut.  They're really good :)

That, and go check out the wild horses.

Those were the two must dos we had. You'll see. It's so laid back. I loved it. Think you will too.

We stayed down in Kill Devil Hills.

Just picked up a RST All Star Edition Silverado on Sunday! Satin Steel Metallic with the matching painted bumpers.  It's a definite upgrade from the commuter car (Jetta) I was driving.

As it sits right now, I plan on adding the 4" Readlift kit, some AT or MT tires, Amp steps, and a Tonneau cover.

Sounds good, I love donuts. Wild horses supposedly frequent the yard of the house we have rented. Hope to get some good shots of the RST playing in the sand. Son has on board air and a 12k winch on his tacoma ti take the stress out of wheeling.
