Added some lights to the truck. The outlet in the truck bed really helps with getting power to the lights.

We are back to our normal winters this year - oh well. Yesterday 37f and windchill to mid 20s, so nice day to pull out the bucket and wash the truck.
Did look nice out there today -until I have to go somewhere.

2024 LT 1500 crew cab.  Wanted a double cab, but I am glad I went with the crew now.  Standard bed too so I can actually do truck stuff with it.  First new truck.  Traded in a 2014 that I bought used in 2014 with less than 10k on it.  Loved that truck.  145000 miles I had to replace the transmission.  Another 50000 on her before I traded her in.   Otherwise, she was still running strong when I traded her in.  Don't let these 'dfm horror stories' scare you.  The 5.3 I had in the '14 ran strong and never gave me any problems.

Had dirt everywhere inside and out. Spent Friday and Saturday cleaning her up.

Here's a cold start below. Stock, nothing done to it. It was 33 degrees when filmed yesterday.

Almost a month ago I finally pulled the trigger on a new to me truck! I had some tight parameters that made this search really difficult. Standard bed, 3.0 duramax, 6 seats, not white or silver, under 60,000 miles, under $40,000. I've been looking for about 6 months and I finally found it! I was fine with an SLE, and preferred the Elevation, but then this SLT popped up at my nearest GMC dealership. It's even my preferred color. I'm not a fan of the rims, but that's an easy change. The bed has a bunch of fine scratches, but I'll buff those out when it warms up. I added the PPE Transmission bypass valve a few days after buying it thanks to comments on this forum. I bought a new dash camera and hope to install it this weekend. I'm looking to tone down the chrome in the grille. I'm also working on a 3D printed cup holder to fit my wife's Stanley water bottle among other things. I've been stalking these pages for a while now, and I am grateful to all the wonderful people who have shared tips, tricks and beautiful mods. I hope to give back by being a good contributor as I make my truck my own.

Traded my 2020 1500 Denali 6.2 in for a 2025 1500 AT4 6.2.

The AT4 rides just as nice and quiet as the Denali.

The AT4 interior is a major step up from my Denali, but is actually the same as the current DenaliIMG_0246.thumb.jpeg.034b689869cf9715595ac2cfbb1be038.jpeg
