Forgot I had this picture. With OEM arms the 35x12.5x20 KO2 tires did rub at full lock. This was before the leveling kit.

Thank you for the extra info. Sounds like 35x12.5 are going to rub after a level unless you add spacers. I wonder if the KO2’s 295/65r20 would clear the uca? They are about 0.7” narrower but still 35” tall. Actually a little taller than the 35x12.5s. Any thoughts on this size and rubbing. Would prefer no spacers if possible.

I put on a set of 285/65/20 KO2s and they fit without any rubbing at all. This was before any level or spacers. They just looked too damn skinny.

I don’t think the 295 were even an option at discount tire otherwise I would have tried them. Although I think they would end up being too big and probably look skinny

the 285/65/20 and the 35x12.5x20 end up being almost the same exact diameter. The later being significantly wider and beefier looking.

honestly I love my setup. .375 bora spacers are good to go as they are hub centric and leave plenty of threads left on the studs. You cannot even tell at all that they are sticking out more than the rear tire.

Thank you for taking the time to provide all the feedback. I will probably just go with the 35x12.5x20s BFGoodrich KO2s and add a spacer. I have ran three sets of these on my F150 and I’ve always liked them; however, they rub at full lock. I am ready to have a truck with beefy tires that does not rub!

Hey everyone,

Long time lurker and finally decided to create an account. Added the 2" RC level and 35" Trail Grapplers to my AT4. The RC kit leveled the truck perfectly (did not have success with the Readylift Kit). Hope y'all like the pics!

what was the issue with the Ready Lift kit?

The 1.75" kit did not level my truck. I even tried their 2" kit without adding the rear blocks and the UCAs were too close to stock tires and would have definitely not worked on 12.5" wide tires.

Beautiful, great to see color match fenders! I just ordered this identical truck about a week ago. Did you install spacers? Does it rub at full lock? Any plastic trimming? Last question I promise, does the rough country lift include replacement UCA’s or did you stay with the factory UCA’s?

Yes, color matched fenders are a must for me. I ordered some of the lower fender caps (the mud/wind guard replacements without the flap) from truck-accessories and plan on having them painted white for the front and rear to complete the look. Too bad GM doesn't offer this.

No spacers installed nor trimming, only the 2" RC kit and 35x12.5.20s. It does rub at full, full lock but not enough to cause concern or damage. If you are concerned about rubbing, I would recommend 295/60/20s.

The RC kit does not include UCAs. I believe only ReadyLift offers the UCAs with their leveling kit - as you can see from this thread and my posts, stock wheels and 35" tires are too close to the ReadyLift UCA. I know RC can get a bad reputation with their glorified 3"+ leveling kits, but I was pleased with me 2" kit and it leveled my truck perfectly.

Got my 1.25" BORA spacers on today. Perfect fit and pulls out the wheels just enough; more importantly moves the backside of the tire away from the upper control arms, as it was getting close after I put on the Rough Country leveling kit.

FYI the 1.25" fit with no trimming as the Trail Boss wheels have pockets behind them to fit the bit of lug bolts that is sticking out.
