Through all my reading you're about the only one with that cst lift. And u push it hard. Want to let me hold that discount code?

Appreciate you following my comments. Owned them all and only recommend CST products because they are the best. Anyone can have a lifted truck but comparing them all side by side and you’ll agree as well, CST is the best. As a matter of fact, the service manager at a large GMC CHEVY dealership fell in love with my setup when he compared BDS/PRO-COMP and some others and said he prefers the CST, that alone says a lot.

Do they sell those Coilovers alone? Might be an upgrade idea for me. I personally already purchased a 5" bracket from RC due to great reviews.

you can buy any coilovers alone: dirtlogic, fox, king, icon, cst and so on. kings are arguably one of, if not the best coilover for street applications there is. King will build you a set of shocks to your exact specifications including color.

They do sell leveling coil overs and coil overs for lifted trucks too. I went from a level to a CST lifted with new Bilsteins to coil overs with rear piggy backs resi’s c7155cd2966cc7ceea850cf2c7805b40.jpgand absolutely LOVE IT!

A buddy of mine sent these to me, a bit extreme for me but to each their own.

Just remember, every manufacturer has a different ride quality from the other. Bilsteins are entry level riding a bit stiff and low end performance and Fox are a bit stiffer too. I’ve heard great things about King shocks but opted to go with same manufacturer as lift. Many different Coil Over manufacturers out there. My experience with CST is absolutely awesome!

It all depends on what you’re looking for. Recommend, highly recommend you research and get feed back from folks with actual hands on experience and not going from hear say. Lots people out there with zero experience but imagination. Good luck and have an awesome safe New Year!

Sorry, late response. There are a bunch of CST Lift owners on the forums and as a matter of fact that’s how I got turned onto CST, looking, searching what’s the best and after a ton more research I took the leap and here I am. I didn’t want A lift kit, I want THE lift kit. Have a safe and great New Years!

Dumb question. Can i put a bilstein 5100 in the front on the lowest setting with a motofab 2.5 spacer on top of it. Just to get rid of the ranchos

You can.  I've been running my 5100's on the lowest setting with a Zone 2" for about 3 years.  Although I've got an Eibach Pro Truck Lift System on order that includes the springs and starts at 2.5".  I was planning on removing the Zone kit and raising the 5100 up to the max setting to see how much difference the ride would be but decided I only want to do it one time and pay for an alignment once.

Keep in mind that with a spacer you are limiting the suspension down travel which does affect ride quality. https://www.shocksurplus.com/pages/lifted-and-leveling-struts-vs-strut-spacers

Either way, the 5100's ride much better than the Ranchos GM put on these trucks.

I was considering the Rancho Quicklift System with the RS9000 shocks but I had read that there have been some quality issues. There was a thread on the same site above that basically said the RS9000XL were decent shocks but when compared to Bilstein the quality did not match.

I chose the Eibach even though there's not a lot of coverage for them on this forum yet because they've been around forever and they produce suspension parts for many of the other manufactures out there.

Waterfowler41 did an outstanding write up and video of his installation of the Eibach system.  Might be a $150 - $200 more than what you were wanting to spend, but the ride would probably be a lot better.

Those look like exactly what i need. Do they give more height than the fox 2.0s?

The Pro-Truck Lift System with the springs starts at 2.5", 3.2, then it says see notes.  You would need UCAs beyond 2.5".

I ordered mine from Shock Warehouse: https://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/product.cfm?id=2463422 but have not received them yet.  As I mentioned earlier, at $527 for this kit, you're not too much more than the 5100's and you're not stacking anything.

I did order a set of 2" blocks for the rear because my truck sits level currently with the 5100's, Zone 2" Level Kit, and Zone 1.5" Body Lift.  My fenders are all at 40.5 all around, so when I install the new kit, it would probably be nose high without the new rear block.  The rear block is only adding 3/4".

Hope this helps you.  You may want to reach out to Waterfowler41 as well since he did the install and write up. He seemed very pleased with the results.

Let me know if you have any questions on the Eibach kit.  Like Dave said, I am very happy with the results compared to previous trucks strut set ups I have owned.  My last F150 has Rancho 7000mt's and paired with BFG Rugged Terrains.  It was a horrible ride and down right scary on bumpy exit ramps.  The Eibach kit paired with 275/60r20  Falken AT3W's is a winning combo in my opinion. I daily drive my truck, I wanted a lifted truck but I also didn't want to fuse my spine together hitting Chicago road cracks with overkilled struts/shocks.  The EIbach kit checked all the boxes for my application.

Good price, I paid $550 shipped for the Eibach pro lift kit from Tire Rack back in November.   I finally installed a couple weeks ago and have about 900 miles on it.  It's much nicer than the stock ranchos and blocks..  I did the 275 60 20 Wildpeak as well and they rub on the front of the UCA at full lock ( the factory tires did as well, just not as much) with the rough country blocks in the front.  I have the stock AT wheels, contemplating some small, like 3/8" spacers to fix the rub, but I need to do some more research.

I contacted Shock Warehouse to inquire about my order and they said there is a slight back order from Eibach.  They should ship directly from Eibach on 1/15.

The engine coolant temperature (ECT) at start-up is less than 42°C (108°F). The intake air temperature (IAT) is between 2–32°C (36–90°F). The engine is OFF for greater than 6 hours or the following conditions must be met: The start-up IAT minus start-up ECT are within 12°C (22°F). The start-up ECT minus start-up IAT are within 50°C (90°F). Fuel level is between 25 and 75 %.   Circuit/System Verification Verify that all I/M System Status indicators report YES, and that no I/M Test DTCs are present. If any I/M Test DTCs are set Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. If no I/M Test DTCs are set All OK. Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) System Set Procedure   Warning: Refer to Road Test Warning. Note: Do NOT touch the accelerator pedal until told to do so. A change in TP Sensor angle or an increase in engine speed may invalidate this portion of the test.   Note: An I/M Test DTC will not be stored or erased from the ECU except at the end of trip processing, which occurs 5 s after ignition OFF.   Ensure that the vehicle meets the conditions for a cold start listed above. If the EVAP I/M System Status indicator displays NO, perform the EVAP Service bay test if applicable. Turn OFF all of the accessories; HVAC system, other electrical loads, including aftermarket/add-on equipment, etc., and open the hood.   Set the vehicle parking brake and ensure the vehicle is in park for automatic transmission or neutral for manual transmission.   Start and idle the engine for 2 min.   Close the hood, release the parking brake and Accelerate at part throttle to 72–80 km/h (45–50 mph) with this speed maintained until the engine reaches operating temperature, 8–10 min.   Continue operation under these conditions for an additional 6 min.   Accelerate at part throttle to 90 km/h (55 mph) with this speed maintained for 2 min.   Release the accelerator pedal for at least 10 s. This will allow the vehicle to enter the decel fuel cut off.   Safely stop the vehicle, with the engine in drive for automatic or neutral with the clutch pedal depressed and parking brake applied for manual. Allow the vehicle to idle for 2 min.   Shift the vehicle to park for automatic and neutral for manual. Turn OFF the ignition and exit the vehicle. Do NOT disturb the vehicle for 45 min.   Observe the Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) System Status with a scan tool. All of the I/M System Status indicators should display YES.   If the EVAP I/M System Status indicator displays NO, turn OFF the ignition, ensure that the vehicle meets the conditions for a cold start, and repeat steps 6-11 three more times, or until the EVAP I/M System Status indicator transitions to YES. The I/M System DTC Table identifies the DTCs associated with each I/M System Status Indicator.   Observe the I/M Test DTC information with a scan tool. Verify there are no I/M Test DTCs present. If an I/M Test DTC is set, diagnose the DTC using the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle and refer to Inspection/Maintenance System Check.   Observe the engine DTC information with a scan tool. Verify no DTCs are present. If a DTC is set, diagnose using the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. After repairs, perform the Inspection/Maintenance Complete System Set Procedure to verify no further DTCs are set.       Looks like one procedure to me.  Repeated as necessary.
