I don't mind the regular LT grill, I just prefer painted over chrome.  I also feel billet looking good ended with the 99 trucks.  The 99-02s look ok with it, put pre 99 looked the best.

Hey, my 04 looked good with the polished inserts, and I thought my 08 looked good with with a black chrome overlay. But, I know exactly what you are saying, the last two body styles do not have grilles that are made to have anything added to them. (2014 - 2018, and now the 19’s)

I just stole SSchups pic(hope you dont mind Scott). Chrome bumper/grill looks nice with the ltz z71/high country inserts

I actually debated doing a LT grille because I feel though there is to much chrome on the front of the LTZ's non Z71's. Decided to do the High Country grille cause I like the simpler chrome bars. I also plan to have the front bumper Vinyl wrapped white so it will basically be a High Country front end. The Black wheels will also be replaced with chrome when winter is over.
