Check engine light 2019 Silverado

I get this same issue on my 2019.  I notice it happens when I leave my hazards on (I do this frequently as I'm a technician working out and about).  In addition, I normally keep my high speed charger plugged into the 12v outlet.  Once the check engine light comes on, I drive normally.  After a few shutdown and restarts, the light goes away.

 

Chevy should really find an alternative light for such a stupid issue.  This never happened in either of my Tacomas.  Back to the Tundra after this Chevy...  First and last.

My 2019 Silverado, 1500, just illuminated my check engine light this am. 38,000 miles. I heard a whistling/air escaping noise when I parked it last night in the garage but didn't pay it any mind. Now I wonder if that was associated with the check engine light? No driving performance issues this am while driving to work.  I'd like to reset it myself and see if it comes back before taking it in for service. Anyone have the procedure for how to do so? I'm also wondering if my OBD-II scanner will read the codes or if I need to upgrade it? I bought it back in 2000 so it's a bit out of date! Thanks for any guidance/suggestions you all may have!

My 2020 Silverado TB 5.3 seems to also be very sensitive when I plug iPods of other devices to the USB ports , will pop a check engine light from time to time and just go away on its own... I filled up my windshield washer fluid and popped a check engine light ... hoping it goes away ....

This happned to me this weekend. I have a 2021 5.3l with 2000km. All was fine and only thing I did was charging my phone with a 12v USB adapter in accessory port while I was working on my RV at storage site. Unplugged it whenot was charged and started truck about 20 minutes after that. On comes check light. Drove a few KM's and resterted truck 2 or 3 times before I got home. Turned off and on in drive way and it no loner is on. 

 

Sure seems related to this thread, I did not notice any odd sounds or performance issues driving. Very werid.
