I've actually browsed this forum since 2014 when the 6.2L was released. Just now pulling the trigger since the wife and I are expecting a child in August and car seats don't fit in Corvettes. Just picked up a 2017 in summit white with 18,500 miles. Very impressed with the truck as far as acceleration, comfort, and mpg. Looking forward to racking up the miles and maybe a few mods along the way.

We looked at the 2017’s also. Couldn’t believe how much nicer they rode and handled than the old beater ‘04 Z71!

Congratulations to your family on the spectacular event in August!  Your new truck is exciting but nothing compared to the life altering event of becoming a parent!  Appreciate the rain!

Me too!  It's like the middle of August here on Vancouver Island.  Living in an area with lots of trees can be a concern after long periods of hot dry weather!

Nah, my tax paying dollars now go to "safe injection sites", affordable housing, "tiny house" cities for the homeless, and the mass transit "mobile toilet" for the street people who currently live in the "tent cities" under the freeway's and everywhere else the can roost.

Welcome!!

It's a long read, but there are quite a few inexpensive mods in this thread.

Here's what I've done to mine.  If our OT gets called off, I'm going to get a few more items on my list KO'd.
