New trailboss , $56,000 dollar truck and I have to pay GM on star to have a road map on my display.  ?!  My 16' had it  , my 2008 GMC had it but now I have to pay monthly.

**** you GM !!!

Backup camera doesn't work,

Transmission clunks and shifts awful,

vibration in front end ,

steering wheel sloppy,

tailgate sometimws won't open,

my brakes are horrible , pedal to floor ,

i hate this truck seriously and it's a good thing I lease this one.

Last POS GM I will ever drive and I hope it blows an oil cooler line next,  because it will for sure burn to the ground !!

If you have the infotainment 3 plus radio you may be able to get navigation with this?

Also lol.

My truck came with navigation. It's the most useless part of the truck. Waze on Android Auto is the best.

Don't worry. You didn't lose anything.

I'm having the same issues with the tailgate... I usually have to press the button twice to open it, but after it's opened once, then it seems to only require 1 press. Anyone else come up with an explanation?

i was a little pissed off that my fully loaded truck didn't come with Nav either.

then i plugged in my phone and instantly didn't give a **** anymore.

Clearly, if it didn't have Nav then it wasn't 'fully loaded'.

The Trail Boss has no option to add Nav. So yes he can get every option available and still not have factory nav. However, Android Auto and Apple Car Play are both great options and Waze on Android Auto is incredible...

It’s been one issue after another in the last week or so with my truck.   Felt better after my rant on here and I know I’m not the only one with these annoyance so......

the reason I wanted the nav maps loaded in the truck was I do a lot of camping in areas with no service so my apple maps don’t work without it.  Just helps while I’m driving on county roads and trails to have a map to look at for directions rather than stopping and looking at paper map.  ( my GF tries to read map and thinks that turning right is always going down on the map ).

Is there any way to load a map free and have it work without cell service ?

thanks

Google maps let's you download maps into the cache. I'm not sure if that translates over to Android Auto not you could try it by downloading the maps, connections it to Android Auto, then turning off the cellular data on your phone...

I know you are venting but be sure to take a list of your concerns to your dealer.  Most of these are warranty items. They should have been recognized during a test drive and dealt with at pre-delivery.  Options like navigation are known prior to purchase.  My '09 had a shopping list of issues when new.  Like you, I figured it may be time to return to Ford.  The main reason I chose GM again in '15 was due to how GM dealt with my '09's shopping list of concerns.  I drove that truck for 100K trouble free miles post warranty.
