Can I haul 2 full Ridgid job boxes in my 2010 Chevy 1500 WT? It's reg cab 4x4 with 5.3l V8. Also wanting to know what issues I could run into by overloading the bed

Look at the tag in the door for the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) sticker as that’ll let you know the max weight rating. 1/2 ton is 1,000 lbs so I’ve always went ny the rule of max I can haul without a trailer is 1,000;lbs.

Regular or Long Bed?  If the former, somewhat less than 1705 pounds.  If the latter, somewhat less than 1802 pounds.  You have a sticker in the door jamb that tells you exactly how much, it's the Tire and Loading Information sticker.

Subtract the payload capacity from the GVWR (the other silver sticker) and you'll have the truck's curb weight as delivered with a full tank of fuel.

If you really want to know, weigh the truck and then weigh it again with the boxes on board at your local CAT Scale.
