That’s about what the first post said - curious what the exact final torque value is. Somewhere in the 80-90 ft lb range it looks like.

Couldn’t agree more - nice to see it on paper and the torque sequence as well.

fabtech says 130ft/lbs with their lift kit with rear block but that's with their U-bolt and such

I wonder if they are a different grade (5 vs 8 )? Since I'm still in warranty I ordered new parts and will install per Chevy instructions posed above just in case something happens. Ahh maybe I should just get a lift.

60 is NOT fine...they should be around 85 or so after the final 120 degrees past the 60ft lbs.  But at least yours were tighter than most of ours...

I bolts are one of those things that get re-torqued after a few hundred miles.  They stretch

that being said I have never checked them on a new truck only after doing my own suspension work.

gonna have to check them tomorrow.

I torqued mine to 85 and about 95% of the clunking is gone.

What I have discovered is that the clamp that surrounds the leaf spring is what is making the noise on mine but only on the passenger rear side.  I got under the truck and rocked the truck side to side and that is where the noise is coming from.  I’m not sure there is a fix for this as the clamp is not capable of being removed or how you would put a thing sheet of rubber around the spring to isolate it from the clamp.
