A lot of times I have grocery bags in both hands since I don't want to have to bring the shopping cart out to the parking lot and bring it all the way back and I am usually carrying four bags, two in each hand, and and my keys are usually under my phone and wallet. The convenience is way nicer when there's a button readily available. It's really nice when I don't have to take my keys out all the time so, yes, it's below me, LOL.

If only you had a 5 1/2 foot box just to the right of the rear door of your truck where you could put said groceries. ?

I only use it if I want to let all of my groceries roll everywhere in the back whilst driving on the gravel road towards the ranch. ?

Need a yukon.

Open the rear gate by waving a foot under it...

My 2019 RST has it and it's standard. Like the center console, it's a feature I cannot live without. The 2020 RST doesn't though... it seems the GMC didn't do that to the Sierra, only the Chevrolet with the Silverado. And I looked at the 2500, it looks like all have buttons on the rear doors. I hope Chevrolet puts that back in their 2021 Silverado 1500.

didnt even notice but yeah i have buttons on both doors and use the rear one as well....not critical but nice to have

I use the rear door about 3 or 4 times a day at the ranch. I also back in my spot against the wall with the right side also against the wall. I suppose I use the rear door button a lot more than the average Joe.

I put my backpack for work in the back and use the button on the rear door to unlock and lock the doors most of the time.

No, they took out the buttons for the rear doors completely, that's why I am glad I have a 2019. I am always using that button to get my bags of groceries in the back seat. My friend's 2020 High Country doesn't even have it, only in the front doors. My lowly RST has it on all four doors. Even if the 2022 had an upgraded dash, I probably wouldn't go for it. Gotta have that button on the rear doors! All day long, I'm making errands and putting stuff there.

My 2020 AT4 has them on all 4 doors

I found out GMC Sierra still had buttons on all four while Chevrolet took out the rear buttons for the 2020 model year. My 2019 RST has it on all four. I love this feature, I use it all the time, I would hate to have to push the front button then go back and open the rear door.

Could be good, could be bad. Have to say the 2014 silverado was hands down way nicer than the 2016+

Yeah, I use the back buttons a lot too.

I think it’s safe to assume all 2020 GMCs have the back buttons...every one I’ve seen has them, even on SLE trim (like the mule). Maybe it’s a Chevy thing now. Have to step up to professional grade to get the back buttons.

father of 3 and my first crew. Use the buttons all the time when coming back from practice or the store with groceries. My first stop with kids or groceries is not the driver side... ever haha.

Looks like the Half tons will now get the bed step close to the Cab like in the HD models. This is fantastic .

That would be sweet. Where did you see that though?
