Also i believe the denalis use different leather, not just more. My wifes yukon denali has much nicer, softer leather than my 14 ltz or my 2020 rst have.

The Sierra Denali and Silverado High Country both have real leather seating and real wood trim. The lower trims have the faux coated leather.

All the trucks with leather have real leather. The Denali (Forge Leather) and High Country have open pore/grain leather.

Technology package, moon roof, huge wheels, different leather, it all ads up to have these things an LTZ doesn't

Yeah, the leather in the non-top-end trims is very "okay". And by that, I mean that my wife's 2013 Odyssey's leather is nicer than my 2019 RST. Lol ??

Because people still buy them. Yea, it's really that simple.

Grumpy pretty much said what I was going to, BECAUSE THEY CAN!  As long as people want luxury car features in what once were utilitarian vehicles, they will charge what the traffic will bear.

A loaded F150 Limited currently goes for 73k and a Limited RAM is around same price.

The Denali @ 68k is a bargain :)

Eh, you can get out the door in a Ram Limited in the upper 50s. It’ll probably turn to dust, but the interior at least looks expensive. Ram also gets HUD and camera rearview mirror for 2021...so whatever cards GM did have to play just got counterfeited.

Faux luxury.

It's easy to fool people that WANT to be fooled.

Fake leather. Fake wood. Fake stainless and brass. Even fake paint. Looks like the real thing....nah!!

The FAKE Chrome on the wife's GMC was blistering at two years. Chrome, taken care of, won't blister in 50 years.

Oh goody, I have connectivity. Yea, for a few years until that tech is obsolete then you have a useless piece of junk.

1939 Buick with Mohair seats. A lot of cars of the 30's did. Not just luxury. Mohair is a fabric or yarn made from the hair of the Angora goat. More durable than any polymer textile and yet....plastic?

Leather of a GMC Denali: (Pleather) Faux leather begins with a fabric base such as polyester. The fabric is then given an imitation leather finish and texture with wax, dye, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or polyurethane. Faux leather is obviously designed to look like real leather, but the surface of synthetic leather is uniform.

Leather of a Bentley, Bugatti : Some cow is missing his hide.

Even Daisy my 09 LaCrosse has REAL leather seats.

Today a Denali is a name plate that lets people carry on like they have money they just don't have.

Well yes and no. You get some nicer features in both limiteds like massaging seats in the Ford and all around luxury interior in the Ram. To some that may not be worth the extra cost though.

The inside of modern vehicles is a date with milk bottles and siding from your house molded in the form of something they are not. Even the few that contain some 'real' content use the cheapest turds possible shined up some and darn little of that.

Luxury seems to be defined as connectivity and shapes and color.

Same tools the devil used to lure Eve :crackup:Genesis 3:6 "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye,...."

In the SAME amount of time it will be the same rusted out wreck a WT1 will be.

How do you think Eve would have felt to be talked out of everlasting life to find the fruit on that tree was plastic?

If the Denali is just a waste then don't buy it or look at it and move on, making a comments like that just come across as uneducated.

I  have a Denali, and I did not buy it for the name plate nor is money a concern for me.

This thread makes me laugh, an SLT is not the same as Denali and saying they are is hilarious.

People buy what they want and typically what they can afford, everyone has different opinions, and those who comment saying more expensive models are not worth it is usually because they cannot afford it.  In my experience those who truly feel the car is not worth it simply say that and no further comments or just don't buy it and keep it to themselves.  Those who have to put models down and convince others its not worth it is because of other reasons.

Crude and rash assumption. Good thing you underlined usually, eh?

People that like to make such rude comments are usually embarrassed by their poor decisions.

:wtf:

OP asked for an opinion. I gave one.

Get a grip.

Yeah that must be it, because I'm the one commenting on my poor decision, where you have many.  I'm the one who needs to get a grip

I gave you the grace of noting you underlined usually to indicate it may not have been intended for me.

I see that same grace will not be extended to me. Sweet. I always feel better when I know the nature of the person I'm speaking to? :seeya:
