Even Ford dropped that button on the rear doors of the F150. They said the vehicles told them that button was almost never used. If GM has the T1s wire similarly then they'd have data showing them it's a smart business move.

Well, I'm helping skew the data to the "uses rear unlock buttons", for sure. I use mine every single day - since I put my backpack in the rear when I leave/go to work. Glad GM has kept it.

The 2020 models dropped the rear door lock/unlock button. I wish they hadn't though. I, like you access the rear door multiple times a day and 90% of the time forget to hit the front door button. The good thing is on my 2020 RST, you can program the front door button to lock/unlock all doors when hit once.

Apparently I can see his posts if somebody responds to him. Not too surprisingly, facts are wrong again.

LOL, Ford dropped that button on the rear doors of the F-150....

Newsflash, the F-150 (or even the Mexican Lobo) has NEVER had buttons on rear doors. I'd know that for a fact, we have plenty at the ranch.

And I use mine a lot. I'm always getting stuff out of the shed and putting it in the back seat since the bumpy road would get the stuff all the way to the front of the bed and I got tired of reversing and then braking hard to get the stuff to the back of the bed.

However, I do miss the Lobo's keypad to get in. I wish Chevrolet would implement that. I know there's the dealer add-on, but if the battery goes out, you need a new one.

Yeah, another cost-saving measure from GM. You have to wonder just how much they save skipping the rear buttons on the models under the HC and LTZ (which still have all 4). And how much is saved putting incandescent tail lights on LTs, but not on the Customs... so odd.

I have several vehicles with buttons on the doors. One I just have to be near it to unlock. I still hit the fob while walking up to it. Same with backup camera. I still turn around.

I have a sling backpack I use as a diaper bag, and 3 kids, that I put into the back seat of my truck almost every time I drive. The absence of the rear button doesn't bother me at all. The front door isn't that far of a reach with my left hand. GMC still has the rear button, but the cost difference between the Chevy and GMC does not justify the added rear button.

I looked at a 2020 LTZ in the U.S. a while back, I can confirm it did not have all four. Some folks chimed in with earlier 2020 LTZs that had it, but it seemed to be in the middle of being phased out. Don't know about HC though.

You're right. I just checked some 2021 LTZ's online. Bummer.

Apparently some of us are more tolerant of others, and don't block people after getting called out for going off topic and being proven wrong. Facts don't care about feelings.

As for what I said, this was based on info from TFL. I can't find the video at the moment, but I believe it was one where Roman goes over what they have in the parking lot. This particular video they received a F150 hybrid. Second, you're the only person discussing Mexican market trucks. The rest of us buy in the USA.

Yes, the GMC kept the buttons on all four doors, even in the lowly Elevation.

Chevrolet no longer has buttons on rear doors, even on high end models.

That's why I am looking at GMC, not Chevrolet.
