Is this official?!? I got a wild hair and just sold my truck because the offer was so good. Now I’m just waiting for the 2022 books to open. Thanks!!

Its from the latest 2021 build out/2022 start up guide from April 16th so yes current info.  2022 refresh is happening, no known delays yet.  HDs start up first as there is no design changes yet to the truck.  Production fires up July for HD.

So that means they should be revealing the updates within the next month, right? GM needs to show them already!!

Awesome, thanks! Another question…how does ordering from the dealer work before online configurator is up? Do the dealers ordering forms have pictures and details of each package/options? Last time, I used the online configurator, selected my options, and then emailed it to my dealer…

Yeah GM is taking their time on this one it seems. Something is up. I’m sure the refresh is still on since they want the sales and I will be ordering one. They will have to show it this month I would assume since orders will open in June. Looking everyday for any info.

When is the last day to order a new 2021 instead? I think getting the final-edition 4.3L V6 is for me with all options, and it can be a future classic truck.

I ordered a 2021 SLE back in November.  Still waiting for it. GM picked up order and Dealer said maybe middle to end of May..  So that's at least 6 month build time and counting.

In the words of Lee Corso... not so fast! (and not surprising)

Not surprised by this especially since they haven’t showed it off yet.

How about GM just slam a 350 and 454 into their trucks with the 10 speed automatic or a tremec 6 speed manual, get rid of gadgets, gizmos, or touch screens. Just a regular Bluetooth radio, analog gauges, a full bench seat front and back (on crew cabs) and see how well the truck would sell???  Just a thought. I know there is more to it but many people don’t need all that “stuff” that can potentially go wrong with the truck and those things are what’s having the shortage in the first place. Am I wrong?

Damn , so does this mean 2022 will be same as 2021? I saw they just delayed the Zed06 until 2023

Looking over at Ford, they have the new F150 , The Bronco , the Maverick , New Raptor , some exciting things coming out.

Cmon GM , where art thou!

I think we can all agree if there is a refresh for 22 model year , we should see it this month .
