Did you get a Custom, as indicated in your avatar?

Did the sales person suggest that it should have those features?

Order guide doesn't show Front and rear park assist as available on Custom

Custom is shown as single zone climate control on lower trims.  Dual zone is from LT and above.

There have been some that have reported needing repair/replacement of rear vision cameras.

UVC    Rear Vision Camera

Fwiw, there is also a HD rear vison camera available on some trims (but not custom), and standard on higher trims

UVC    Rear Vision Camera

Good catch, the 'custom' is basically a W/T prettied up a bit externally.

Yes, it is Custom. I had a 2016 LaCrosse and 2017 Acadia, both with park assist, and all the features I mentioned gone on my Truck. I was told by a local dealer that these features were not available due to the chip shortage. I get that but how about the 2022 refresh that I will not have on my 2022 purchased prior to this refresh. I feel like I got screwed.

They paired up the parking sensors on the RST  with expensive Safety package with a bunch of stuff I didn't want.

But I managed to drive for for 38 years without hitting a car or a person so not really needed.

I use the backup camera and my mirrors to park.

Park assist (front and rear) is not available on a refreshed Custom either.

Yes, on the trims that it is supposed to be 'available' on, there may be restrictions due to the chip thing.

Even when the chip problem eliminated, Custom still won't have it.

Yes, there are a bunch of safety/technology items standard on all trims of the refreshed trucks.

Front and rear ultrasonic park assist isn't one of those either.

Features aren't 'gone' from your Custom.

They were offered/available on Custom.

If you salesperson led you to think your Custom, was supposed to have F/R park assist, then yes they screwed you.

Fwiw, Park Assist can be ordered on a Work Truck.

It cannot be added to a  Custom or Custom Trail Boss.

On the LT trim it is available on the 1LT version but not available on the 2FL version.

The small credit is for stuff that'll be retrofitted later like the heated wheel, seats.  If they are deleted entirely you'll get a larger credit.  I've noticed on many of the Sierra's that are in flight are starting to delete the rear wheel well liners entirely, it's a $140 credit for those and they won't be retrofitted.  Nothing to do with "chips" but appears to be affecting non tech stuff now too.  FJB

Had not seen that yet. Do you have an example of one without rear wheel well liners?

My main concern is that I have purchased a 2022 that has not been refreshed with the improved 2.7 engine and other changes. I would have waited if I knew a refresh was coming. Shows you how important it is to research before buying. I can only blame myself. Feel better venting though, ha.

I purchased a pre-refreshed 2022 LTZ on 2/28/22 knowing that the refresh model would come out in a month or so. In my opinion the refresh model looks too round for me so I prefer the ore-refreshed for me.

Not to mention that just as with anything new there will initially be more flaws than usual to get corrected and while I’m  sure GM will take care of them I rather not deal with the dealership visits. I already regret buying the LTZ with the “retrofit parking sensors, heated steering wheels, etc”

I ordered a Ford F-150 with Active Park Assist 2.0.. and was just informed that I'd have to delete it for a $365 credit or I am not getting the 2022.. so it's not unique to Chevrolet. It's everywhere.

Ouch.  I'd wait for the 2023 if that was my situation (if its any better).  I don't think my spouse can safely park these massive sized trucks in the garage or a parking lot without the parking assist.

Could be. Mine said the same thing when I ordered it. All the ones my dealer got in had it and another close by dealer had it on theirs. Who knows. Mine came with ft./rr. park assist and heated seats but not the heated steering. Supposedly I'll be notified later when the module becomes available.

I always back in my spot and my neighbor borrows my truck sometimes.. I had plans to teach her how to use it so she could safely back it in my spot. Otherwise, it's the spot on the other side of the community where she's comfortable parking it at.

My PA worked irregularly from new… service instructed “normal”.  Not!

installed new Software, started acting up even at highway speeds would alert proximity!!  Service said..”huh-interesting- working as designed- not our problem because system is not intended to warm in all situations “

when winter temps got

to 50 F they started working almost perfectly.

GM has a problem…
