bass mechanic Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 I ordered the same truck from 4 dealers. 2 required a deposit and 2 did not. as it turns out my local dealer was ther first to get the truck and i took delivery yesterday. i heard titanium rush was on constraint for a while, seems to be resolved now. my dealer in colorado springs told me 3 times they would sell at MSRP when i got there yesterday the ass hats tried to hit me with a 2390 ceramic coating upcharge that i know for a fact they never applied! i protested, and they agreed to not charge me for it. i am so sick of these dealers playing these games. i cannot wait for the day the manufacturers finally do away with dealers as they serve no real purpose other than warranty work. they lie cheat and steal whwnever it serves them. it's getting to the point they lie worse than the government. anything to stuff their pockets!
Tater86 Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Question, after your order has been accepted how long does it usually take to get scheduled for production?
clongtine Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Mine took a little over a month from acceptance to production, actually received the your truck is being built email from GMC yesterday morning. Hope to see my truck by mid June or sooner.
64BAwagon Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 (edited) I ordered mine in February before my dealer had an allocation. Once the dealer assigned the allocation to my order it was less than 60 days before mine arrived. Overall mine was less than 90 days. Flint production is something North of 1000 units daily. One of the biggest choke points is in shipping. Not sure what Precision is doing but it took more than 2 weeks for my truck to travel less than 12 miles from the plant to the dealer. Part of the issue is that only 4 of these trucks fit on a traditional hauler. Far less than other models but considering the $1895 shipping charge they should be more ambitious. Rumors are that GM profits well off of the freight and I have zero doubt that Precision is a low bidder vendor. Edited May 25, 2023 by 64BAwagon
Tater86 Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Well, found out it is at status code 3400 today, but dealer couldn't tell me what the TPW was, so I believe that is partially good news :). I ordered May 12th.
UWSkier Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 I know the GMC blue for 2024 is still not orderable. Anyone know if that's true for Chevy also? Or know what colors are available to order now?

Agargano98 Posted May 27, 2023 Author Posted May 27, 2023 I was told on thursday that my order went in with no constraints 3500 diesel crew cab long bed ltz radiant red and pretty much all the options 2
clongtine Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 My truck has been produced and now shows on dealers site as in transit. We are finally starting to nudge closer to the finish line hope it comes soon. 1
ssgballistics Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Only took three weeks to get an allocation and order accepted. Order was accepted by GM today. Now the wait officially begins.
Tater86 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Got my TPW this week of 6/05. So that's a little over 3 weeks from order to production, if the 6/05 date holds steady. Now the question is which plant it will be built at and how long will shipping take. I did notice that they are crediting orders $50 dollars because the animated led taillights are having supply issues and not being installed. They are just installing steady led taillights intead.

So far so good Their prices advertised are blowing away everyone else's, but none of the 2024s on their site are available. Did you find their pricing to be legit on your order? With their pricing, it'd be cheaper for me to order one from them and ship it to me in AZ than to order one locally.

I called Rivard last summer when I was in the market and they told me all the ones on their website were already sold. I can see why, their discounts are off the charts. The person I talked with said because of their prices, they sell trucks like McDonalds sells hamburgers...lol... Total volume!!! But damn they have the best prices out there if you can get one.
