14 Silverado sound system

was wondering what some good amps and subs would be good on my truck not completely sure what to get. want something pretty loud that bumps but still pretty clear

hard to answer without a general idea. I really like the JL Stealth box sub for the center console, since it is hidden and provides good tight and loud enough bass. I had to add a 500w amp. And then replaced all stock speakers with a six way active (tweeter is sail panel, mids in the dash, and woofers in door) with an additional six channel amp. All running off the stock head unit. I use a NavTV signal processor to interface between head unit and amps. Great sound. On the expensive side. 
 

Easier to add a sub under rear seat, use coax to replace door speakers and an amp to run them. Then use after market head unit or interface.

Probably should've mentioned i got a single cab lol. Did you have any suggestions still on what type of box. im good with buying everything overtime i want a good sound system, was planning on just getting the oem 8 inch screen radio screen(currently have the 4 inch) but is there an aftermarket one thats better?

aftermarket is always better in my opinion. I have a single cab as well. Pioneer DMH-WT6000 NEX (ordered today) currently has the 8600NEX. Kenwood EXcelon KFC-XP6902C components upfront, JBL Stadium 4x6 in the rear, Kenwood Excelon XR401-4 amp and the Rockford 12inch P300-12T. Not a high dollar system but I'm pretty happy. Good Luck
