I like the looks of these 14/15s but to much electronic bullshit I like my old 94 Silverado just a simple on pickup good on gas well the best a 5.7 TBI can be (22mpg highway) and as simple as can be and very reliable 305 000k. And no real problems.

My 2005 next to my 2014. Unfortunately for the 2005 it was a victim of a flying rock from a logging truck last week and now has a crack windshield.

I'm wondering what the fuel economy would be like with all the new technology in the older, smaller body.

That's why we need a 5.3L V8 Colorado or Canyon! ...just sayin'...

They did make a 5.3 a couple years ago. That in red with the z71 and chrome wheels, 4 door... What a beautiful ride

Oh I know! Someone I know has one....that truck is a beast!

It would probably be about the same, the 1991 may look smaller but they built it back in the day when they weren't afraid to use metal in the trucks. They weigh close to the same, the 91 is a light duty 3/4 Ton. The 2014 can take more in the bed then the 91 and can pull about 1400lbs more as well…
