Drove it from Utah to cali. DIC timer said 9:49:57 of seat time from me filling up in layton where I was staying to my driveway. Never went over 80. Got bad mileage coming back. About 15. It wouldn't stay in 4th until it hit AZ. It would be in 3rd at 80 MPH and sometimes drop to 2nd going that fast. It kept hunting. I would have liked to have gone 5 over the 80 MPH speed limit in Utah but there were some bitchin thunderstorms. And I'm hoping a strong headwind is why my truck acted like that. AZ, NV, and CA it would cruise in 4th fine. Nice thing about the trip was I left at 2:30 am so the only traffic I hit was Vegas morning traffic and I stayed in the express lane

Put 300 miles on it today at 19.3 mpg per dic. Will fill up on Wed and see what it is by hand.

According to my phones fuel log app 14.21 from Layton, UT to Beaver, UT. Beaver to Primm, NV 15.51. And Primm to Bakersfield, CA hasn't been calculated. I enter everything at the pump and I haven't filled up but did some around town driving since I got back. So it won't be all hwy like the other figures I presented. I'm still pondering why my truck shifted like it did. My best guess was hills and a lot of wind. The truck would sway.

i track the fuel on my truck and im seeing 15.5 MPG too. if you have over 100k, weird shift and the trans doing unusual things gets normal.

Drove to work and I'm getting the daily reminder squeak that I need to get new brake pads for the front. Well 3+ years and about 31k miles of city driving (not too mention my driving habits) has done in the pads. Probably will need new rotors too. Guess this time I'll stick to ceramic vs the semi metallics I have. Dang I hate brake dust on these wheels, what a bear to clean off.

3 years and 30k on pads? lucky you thats pretty damn good. brake dust is annoying but i just spray purple power on it and it wipes right off.

Yeah mine wipes right off, just too many little places that my fat fingers can't get to. So 30k is good? Here I thought that sounded low. The only reason I replaced the factory pads were my OE rotors kept warping and finally replaced them at 50k miles and the pads still had plenty of wear left on them. Matter of fact I think I still have the OE pads in my garage...no idea why I kept them.
