No scratches yet.  But I did just sell my 2002 Silverado. It sold in under 24hrs and I think I did well.  Got $6k for it and it had 200,000 miles on it.  The guy drove 3.5 hrs here to get it.  I think I did well considering it's age and mileage and happy.  Now the miles will start to rack up on the new one and so will the scratches.

I thought you planned to keep it [emoji2373] no need for 2 trucks?

I had a bird hit mine in the side of the box early on that put a dent in her. Had and RV hit me in a parking lot that took paint but no dent and the tail light. Between me and my PDR guy it's still golden. I have to point to them for them to be seen. In fact the PDR guy took all the ripple out of the box on both sides around the wheel wells that the factory thinks is 'normal'.  Right now I have about six chips to fix. All really small but in places that get noticed. None deeper than the primer. I've gotten pretty good at this chip thing. It's a constant battle. The front bumper is beyond hope. I'll end up replacing it and filming it.

Yeah, didn't need it anymore since my wife and I lost our job.  Need to tighten up on finances.

Did some towing for the first time with the new truck. I like the camera for hooking up. No more guessing as to when I'm under the tongue.

Freaked out yesterday go to leave and there is fluid under the front of my truck (didn’t feel like water more like hydraulic fluid). Start freaking out

Why are you on squares of plywood?  If the coating can't hold up to tires then why did you put it down?

It’s holding up fine but the front tires are leaving rubber marks and they are a pita to scrub

I get it, but you know this level of care will soon pass!  It was a blessing in disguise when  I had my first paint accident on my pristine garage floor.  Six years now of treating it like a garage floor and it still looks decent!

Took the family to the Mat-Su Fall Festival yesterday and it was their first time riding in the blazer. The kids thought.it was too loud at first, but quickly got used to it and by the time we got there they didnt want to get out of the "monster" truck lol [emoji23][emoji41] Also, my wife learned that the Blazer isnt a sports car and doesnt handle has well as her Honda Odyssey lol but she enjoyed driving it home e8c513e20aeae21a3da97da94403548b.jpgb995736ef40fec188e374ebe22d163ce.jpgfdb8ba152abd9fdaa96536bec565a6e9.jpga36a41c23f03800df61d46f2c49598cd.jpgd6b4c78502146ea78a49056a45975f16.jpg

Odyssey is not a sports car, either.
