I have a 2012 Stealth Gray Sierra, I just want to know which would look better... black smoke or chrome??? I am going with the OEM GM accessory protector, not third party.

Doesn't answer your question but......I went with the 3M clear bra.

I've thought of that but I truly did notice a difference in bugs on the windshield going from my last truck that has a protector to this new truck without one. I think I'll try the smoke atleast they are cheaper

Haha ya thats the thing. My grill is the new ones with the chrome bars. I think chrome might be too much but then again, smoke may not look good since there's already all this factory chrome (handles, mirrors, sidesteps)

Clear, and then have it color-matched (paint the back side of it).

But, since you're going OEM, get the smoke

I prefer the chrome one. With the chrome bars on the grille, and the chrome surround, it actually blends right in and almost disappears. Ask the dealer if you can see it on the truck before you buy it. If they stock it, they may let you put it up against the hood to see. I have it on my blue truck (I have the AllTerrain grille), my buddy's kid just put it on his silver 2012 Sierra, on both trucks it blends right in. But YOU need to see it to decide yourself.
