Here are some pictures of my truck with the 6" BDS kit with coilovers, fox 2.0 shocks and rear leaf springs. Just remember that if you deviate from BDS' suggested wheel/tire combinations you can expected to trim.

How is the ride with the BDS leaf springs compared to stock? I have the exact same kit arriving this week Coiler and leak spring upgrade

Would a 6 inch lift with 33s look too goofy? I'd like to stay at a 33 inch tire and I'm gonna get either a 4 or 6 inch lift.

How about just going with a rough country 5 inch lift. Or it looks like ready lift has a new 5 inch knuckle lift.

I think 33s would look better with a 4" kit than a 6"

The ride is excellent with the coilovers and rear leafs. The rear leafs are a little stiff after first but now after a 1,000 miles they have settled and it feels like a factory ride. What I love about this kit is how everything feels like factory. There isn't any clunking noises, the steering isn't loose and the suspension isn't stiff. You'll be very happy once it's installed.

Any dealer I hear that has done it has just bought an aftermarket recalibrator tool and done it

That is correct.

For reference to those debating lifts, here's mine I just finished along with my .

Fabtech 4" suspension

Fuel Beast 20x10 -18 et

33x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country R/T

The ride, height, softness of the R/T's, turning radius are all amazing and exactly what I wanted out of this truck. With the Fabtech kit, seemed like a bit much fab work for my liking (I did the lift myself). In retrospect, I think it would be better to accomplish the 4" from a level kit and 1.5" body. I had to cut off front diff cooling fins, a whole section of the front side of the diff, a section out of the lower driver's side control arm bracket, the upper control arm bracket stoops, etc.

With the Fuel wheels, I LOVE them. They're kind of greyish in pictures, but almost a magnesium/bronze color in person. What I didn't like about the wheels is you have to buy smaller aftermarket lug nuts, and the set I bought didn't seem to be acorning into the wheel tight and I ended up over tightening the nuts, stretching out the lugs.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Truck looks great! Any rubbing from the wide wheels up front? If so how much trimming. Thanks

Well, it's done. I did it in a day with a buddy. Dangerdick ain't the only one anymore, lol. The magneride is all still 100% intact and functional. Please let me know if anyone has any questions about the install process of the kit and I'll be happy to answer them or include pictures. Anywhere else I should post this?
