rivertrail Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 So what are you guys paying for a 6" lift and tires installed aligned and out the door? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jimmyboy8301 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 So what are you guys paying for a 6" lift and tires installed aligned and out the door? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's VERY subjective especially when you start talking wheels tires. My zone with skid plate and nitro shocks was $1700 installed. My winter wheels were $500 for the SET and tires were $1240. My summer setup was DEEP into the $2000s (22" AFs) for wheels and $1600 for tires. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Steeks Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 (edited) How is a 4" bds lift and 34.5 tires going to do with the 6.2 with 3.23 gears? Edited November 30, 2016 by Steeks
Steeks Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Does anybody have the bds 4" on a 15' with the 6.2 and 3.23 gears?
jimmyboy8301 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 (edited) Does anybody have the bds 4" on a 15' with the 6.2 and 3.23 gears?the tires should be the concern not the lift. I have a 17 with a zone 4.5" on 33s with a 6.2/3.23 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited November 30, 2016 by jimmyboy8301
cNate Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Did you purchase from an online vendor or local? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Local shop. Got quotes at several local. Some were offering similar discounts some not. You can always ask a local shop to match what you find online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jimmyboy8301 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Have you noticed a big power loss?very very minimal. The 6.2 is such a monster it didn't make much of a difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Bill791 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 On the BDS lift for 2014 Silverado does anyone know how thick the Weld-in plate is
Jaycreek7908 Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Thanks Not just the body lift, 4" all together. I have the 2.5" rough country suspension and the 1.5" zone body lift That looks like way more, I think I may do that! Get the RC 2.5 kit and add the body lift later on. Did you add the body lift later on or do it all at once? Did you need to cut anything like you do in 3.5" lifts? 1
seansharley Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 How is a 4" bds lift and 34.5 tires going to do with the 6.2 with 3.23 gears? running 8" McGaughy with 35/12.5, 6.2/3.42 Tuner, mit tube, definitely no power issues 1
Bpun2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Finally got the zone 6.5 and 35s installed. couldn't be happier with the results. I havent changed the speedo yet (hypertech arriving on saturday) but according to google maps my normal drive to work is 29.9 miles but the truck tracked 27.8 miles. Anyone have an idea on speed difference at 65 mph? I remember from my old lifted truck on 37s the truck was reading 3mph slower at 65mph.
rivertrail Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Man I just got a speedo app on my phone and compare the two. That's the easiest way to know Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
