Hey does anyone know if 295 60 20 toyo open country at 2 extreme would fit on a 14 sierra with 2 inch front level kit on stock 20s???Thanks

So i put my RC 2" level kit and Toyo 295/55/20's on this weekend. Install was simple, just like on my 2011. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands when wedging that spacer in there. 295/

If you look at the post 2 posts above yours, you should get a good idea.

Ya i saw that but those tires are over a inch smaller in dia..not worried bout the width!

I know its probably been asked before, but I can't find a decent answer to it. Will the Rancho Quicklift struts fit the Z71? It says "excludes Z71" on their website, but I'm not sure why it would be excluded. If the Quicklift doesn't work, will the Bilstein 5100 ride adjustable work?

Very close to that size, any opinions y'all have let me know, thanks in advance!!

I run cooper discoverer ATP with Xd's offset of +18 run run on 285-75-17.. this puts it just a hair outside of the fender but i say its dead even. putting on a new set monday going to a cooper st/maxx 295-70-18 TIS wheels with a 0 offset, it might rub a little not sure

Definitely keep us posted on the 295 70s. I really want to run those same tires but not sure on clearance issues.

will do, i also have a 2.25 level kit, the current tires I run are 33.75 tall and the new set they will run 34.25 and I calculated about 1" of easy clearance left so they shouldn't rub

This was always my dilemma. There are a few guys on here running 295/70/18 that do rub - I forget which offset though.

 

295/70/17 is not a problem and the way im leaning

Diameter wise 295/70/17 will likely be fine it will be offset that will be the question. 295/70/17 is roughly 33.3-33.5"x12ishx17. Again like most 33-34" tires the thickness will be the issue. I suggest +12-0-12 offset.

 

I think AZ has his 295/55/20s not rubbing with +19 offset on fuel Mavericks. I've since switched my choice to method mesh at 0 offset. Should he good to go on either 285/70/17 or 295/70/17

My tires are weak lol hate them, waitin till I do my 7" lift to change them tho

I'm surprised those don't rub. Good to know though my wheels have the same offset

Got them on today, they look great will post pics later. a very slight rub on the wheel well on the backside middle of the front tire, very minor trimming will fix it, theres no rub on the front fender side. tires stick out almost an inch outside fenders

      Thanks everyone for the help!   I'm going to stop into the scales one of these days and weigh my axels, for the time being, I am going to run Toyo's recommendations and also do a chalk test. I have a tire shop that's going to try their scanner to reprogram and set the the factory psi values lower, and if they can't I'm going to order a scanner and do it myself!

      You won’t do better than stock exhaust without headers. Just put your favorite muffler on it and it will do the job.

      I have seen different people in different places post different sizes of exhaust as stock for my 2014 Sierra L83. Some say 2.5 some say 2.75. I am considering replacing the muffler with a Dynomax Super Turbo, perhaps 17739.  I had the factory L83 5.3 replaced with another L83 5.3 from Jasper Engines. I also put new Walker Cat / Y pipe on. I would appreciate opinions suggestions about what would be a good muffler setup. My main interest is a low rumble and the best flow / fuel mileage I can get. Not interested in straight through glass packs or loud exhaust. Those days are way behind me now.  Thanks Guys.

      Its coolant disguised as oil.   TSB 20-NA-166 -  20-NA-166 1..3   "To inspect for this concern, add coolant dye to the system, run the engine through warm up, pressurize the cooling system after warming the engine to operating temperature (let the engine cool overnight) and inspect the suspect cylinder with a borescope for coolant dye evidence. At times it may be necessary to remove the head for inspection. If the head casting line is the concern, the intake port will be wet with a coolant oil mix"     I'd say its the head, and its either leaking at the casting line and dripping down the intake into the cylinder, or its another spot on the casting itself at the cylinder that is getting wet.

      Can you sample the pooled liquid, enough to confirm it is oil?   ...That its not fuel or coolant.   Also, make sure combustion gases aren't entering the cooling system.   Simply put, either oil being pushed up past the rings (this really isn't possible), oil leaking past the head gasket, oil leaking past the valve, oil entering through the intake air path. If none of this is likely - it may not be oil.   What could be likely is the fuel injector leaking down. A puddle of gas would still smoke and rough idle. (Same cylinder has the same problem after injector replacement?)   What is the crank time first thing in the morning, when the puddle would be present? Does it seem like the high pressure fuel pump needs an extra second or two to rebuild the pressure that injector 8 may have let bleed off? Check the fuel pressure via a scanner prior to starting the engine.
