No rubbing on sway or control arms at all. I ran a 2" RC level in front for over a year before I moved to the bilstein 5100s. The last few months the ride was getting really rough on the spacer, plus I wanted more height front and back, and new tires because my stock GY SR-As were bald all around after 18k. Not at all saying the spacer was causing the rough ride though. Was a combination of tires, front stock shocks, etc. I was Just ready to try something new. Did 5100s all around with front on highest setting (1.88") plus added the RC .5" spacer on top of bilstein strut. In rear I removed stock 1" block and replaced it with the RC 2" block and added bilstein 5100s in rear. Then Toyo AT II Extremes 295/60/20s all around. It rides like a Cadillac now. Little bit of road noise from those tires but I love it. Nothing like an MT though.

I think the front 5100 bilsteins you can get for around $100 each and the rears around $80 each.

There is a 6112 series bilstein Shock coming out this fall I believe for the Silverado. Not out yet to my knowledge. It's a thicker bigger shock for more off-road applications is what in told. There's a bilstein shock thread in here too that covers all that stuff.

Hope that helps.

I have the 2" rough country for my '15 z71 and have no issues.

It's affordable and looks good installed on these trucks too. Going with that one would be a good way to go.

My first post here on the forums.

This is my 2016 GMC All Terrain. It has a Traxda 2.5" leveling kit and 275/60R20 BFG AT KO2's. I think it sits pretty much perfectly.

What is everybody still under factory warranty doing to calibrate speedo? Just clearing programmer or tune before you have service? Anybody had truck serviced with a tune on and been given any flack? Getting tires tomorrow and want my speedo to be correct but don't want to void the warranty because of the tuner or tune...

I read somewhere that with 33" tires the speedo is only off by like 3mph at ~70 mph so I haven't done anything. I don't think you can recalibrate it without a tune...

Yea that's true. the 275/65 knock it off around 5mph at 75mph. I dunno I guess I just want my digital speedo to be accurate on a brand new truck and I'm a little OCD with vehicles. But you can't have your cake and eat it to apparently. Really should have asked if the dealer can tell if you had a tune or tuner and then cleared it before you went up there?

Oh absolutely I'm the same way, once I realized it would cost at least 300$ plus voiding the warranty I didn't even consider it. It might be worth it for someone that does a lot of highway driving but not me. You'd think at this day in age the computer would self adjust :ninja:

    • Yes it can be a challenge for obvious reasons. Remember when people were blocked on websites during the last administration if you didn’t agree. Being retired I can scan all the sites and podcasts. I start in the morning with Glen beck during my walk. Then I watch Orielly that I recorded the night before. I scan the headlines on Newsmax, and News Nation. News Nation has Como so it’s diverse. Weekly him and Orielly have debates sometimes Steven A is along for the ride. My nightcap is Jesse Watters for comic relief. Then it’s the Astros, that’s been disappointing. Sometimes Greg Kelly if the Astros are getting blown out.
    • I believe the only thing that can be monitored is negative electrical current returning through the frame instead of the ground wire. It's just a guess, but that's how your home gfi breakers work and my theory is that is what's going on. I will be watching for what you figure out.
    • Glad it worked for you. I tried that 1st, about 2 years ago. Didn't help. I also tried doing a hard reset (disconnecting battery for minimum of 30 minutes). Worked a couple times, but after one summer of doing it over and over, that no longer worked.  I was fairly confident it was either the compressor or a failed actuator, but I just couldn't identify which one. Had to research which actuators do what and which last numbers are associated with each.
    • Took me FIFTEEN MINUTES to find this. Isn't that a problem? On the mainstream media I can INSTANTLY find 100 articles bashing President Trump ... but when it comes to TRUTH in American corporate news & search engines, it's carefully filtered to support ONE SIDE. A Republic cannot survive like this! Incredible! Even all the AI searchers out there failed as well! ChatGPT said it needed more details on the video that I provided a DIRECT LINK to! I thought AI was the be-all, end-all?? I had to dig it up myself. This should be FRONT PAGE NEWS!!! 🤬   Here's the statement directly from our President:     Glenn Beck's reporting on the operation:   https://glennbeck.com/watch/videos/trump-just-revealed-a-massive-military-secret-that-lowered-gas-prices   In case that link doesn't work, here's the YouTube link:     And another 15 minutes to find this clip out of Glenn Beck's video - the first few seconds is all the corporate media will allow the public to see, since the low IQ people will think Trump said " I love inflation ", and that was the end of it. Taken WAY out of context! Here's that part, plus the 2nd part about the oil smuggling operation:
    • More is cylinder deactivation. Kia-Hyundai Ive had 4. The warranty is the same 10 years 100K miles. My grandson drives the first one 05 Elantra GT. My wife drives the second one 2011 Genesis. The Genesis still performs as new and looks great. The Elantra looks rough. He’s not kind to it. The third was a Genesis coup. The fourth was a Santa Fe. Those were my daily drivers. I don’t keep them long. Kia is the same as Hyundai with the same warranty. I looked at the K-4 today. Too small, otherwise pretty good buy. Most of Hyundai and Kia’s have a performance upgrade.
