Just installed the MotoFab 1.5" leveling kit on mine. First side took me 2 hours, 2nd side took 30 minutes. Glad I did it. Closer to level, but I don't mind a little rake. Rear is 39.25". Front measurements below, and side view w/ the 1.5" kit installed.

Hi guys, I'm new to the site. I have a 2014 Silverado Z71. I had the chrome 20's but traded with my boss for his Tahoe gunmetal 18's. My father in-law lifted his Silverado and is giving me his tires 295/65/r18. He had a 3.5" lift and upgraded to a 7.5" lift. All i want is to level my truck but i am not sure if these tires will have any issues with a leveling kit. Is anyone running these size tires on a stock 18's with a 2" or 2.5" level kit. If so what leveling kit are you using? what brand? Thanks,

With either leveling kit you may have to trim the felt liner a bit as those tires are pretty wide.

I ran 285/65/18's on stock 18" wheels with a 2" level with no issues though. So you may be fine without needing to trim the liner.

I would suggest going with the taller of the 2... go with the 2.5". That's just my 2 cents though.

Thanks,

Would .25" wheel spacer help this issue? also does the leveling kit affect the CV angels? what brand of leveling kit do people recommend? readylift, bds, rough country?

It might help, but i can't say for sure, as i've never tried it. And with the leveling kit, it doesn't take the angles to the extreme that would cause any significant wear to them. They may wear out faster than in stock formation, but I had my dealer install mine, so it's warrantied.

Any of those brands you named will be great. I use rough country because it's affordable and works well. The others are great too though.

How is everybody's trucks riding with the 2.5" rough country kit? I had the 2" level on my truck(14 silverado) and it never drove straight after. Always had a pull to the left and this is after 2 alignments from the dealership! I am in a 16 Sierra now.

I've had my 2" level on my 2015 crew cab for 3,000 miles now with no pulling or change in ride. Thing is perfect!! I kinda regret not getting the 2.5" now lol

So, I have a 2.25" spacer that I have yet to put in. My question is to the guys that have 2-2.5"... Are you guys running rear blocks with that spacer? and if not, is the front sitting higher than the rear or is it sitting level? my fear Is that I'm going to be too high on the front... Thoughts?

I have the RC 2" level block under the strut. I still have a tad bit of rake and am thinking about adding the 1/2" spacer on top. I'm still running the factory block in the rear.

I'm running the MotoFab 1.5" leveling kit. That's it, nothing else. Front is 1" lower than the rear, which is exactly what I wanted. Just a slight bit of rake. Made a big difference in the look of the truck, that and removing the air dam.

I have the 2.5" in front and stock in rear. I sit 1" high in front. If you don't tow a trailer, this may work for you. I'm running 305 55 20. Rides good. I'm going to add the rear block to bring it level for when I tow, I won't be so nose high.

Has anyone had problems with the RC 2" front level (lower) block? I went to a 4x4 shop and the salesman was telling "sorry about your luck". "Who installed it?" I told him I did and then he had the balls to recommend that he take look at it to make sure it's correct.

This is pretty good info, thanks, so... of the two of you, one with 2" with still a little rake, and one with 2.5" and a little nose high, I'm pretty sure I should be good right in the middle with my 2.25" installed. Going to run 275/60R20 Toyo Open Country AT2's come next spring. Thanks for the feedback!
