2014+ Leveling Kits

I haven't seen anyone run 35's with a 2.5 level, much less a 2". If you find someone running them with that, please report back. Even stuffing 34's in there is really pushing it.

The trucks clearing 35's are F150's and Rams with round wheel well openings. Don't think a 2014+ 1500 GM truck will clear 35's without rubbing bad. Need at least a 4 inch lift to clear 35's.

2.5" RC, 275/65R20 Ridge Grapplers, Stock 20" wheels plastidipped matte anthracite grey to see if I liked the color. Turned out pretty good. I do have airbags which put my about an inch higher in the back, if I drop to 0-5 psi it runs almost perfectly level

I'm gettin the RC 2.5" soon, trouble is, I can't decide which wheels to go with for my tungsten metallic.....apologies for the minor threadjack

I just went matte anthracite grey on my stock wheels, I think it complements the color very well, something different from the typical matte black

Question...

I've got a 2014 Z71 that I just purchased at "Ready Lift - 2.25" Leveling Kit."

Seems pretty self explanatory on the install, but I'm just curious about the "2.25"

Looking at the round spacers, they are only about an inch thick. And the little "C" shaped spacers that go on the bottom are only about 1/4".

Where are they getting 2.25"?

Because of the geometry of the suspension components, the leveling kits are not a 1 to 1 lift ratio so that sounds about right. My 2.5" front upper spacer measured less then 2". 1 11/16" if I remember correctly.

The 999901 is the Gm quick lift, I gave them all my vehicle info for my 2016 GMC

My 2.5 inch level kit lifted All Terrain rubs slightly with 33's when reversing and turning full lock. Have not driven hard off road but I'm sure it would rub the inner fender on a big bump at speed. Your best bet is to test fit a tire before buying them and turn the steering wheel lock to lock. 35's may fit and cause no problem when running straight but factor in a bump while turning and you may end up either trimming/sculpting your fender to get more room. Good luck with your mod and post pictures when done.

Added the zone 1.5" BL to my 2" RC level this weekend. Was a pain in the A, but got her done! Took me about 12 hours all alone.

That's marketing, plain and simple. Their website doesn't specify what make/model the 35's can fit on, or what width the tires are. "Up to 35 inch tires (on select applications)" isn't the same as saying "will fit 35x12.5 tires on GMC 1500 4WD, with a max of 4.75" backspacing on the wheels". As someone already mentioned, that 35" claim is likely on a different make of truck.

Just being less than an inch thick, just seems a little well, not right. But, this is what I got from Ready Lift.
