General Graber HTS 245/70-17

What is every bodies experience with the General Graber HTS 245/70-17? I have a 2013 Silverado 1500 2WD. The truck was new 4-1-2013 and it now has with 19000 miles on it. I drive 4 miles total of gravel every day and the rest is highway miles. I have had 5 flat tires with the tires in the last 10 days. One of the flats was a front tire. All of the flats were in the tread area and when the tires were removed to patch them there was nothing in the tire. No nail, no rock no nothing. I purchased a new 2010 Silverado 1500 2WD in 4-1-2010 and had the same luck with them. I talked with a General Tire Store in Nov 2010 and was told that since I had patched the tires there was nothing that could be done even though two of those tires had not been patched. I am 60 and long past the time of spinning my tires on the gravel or pavement. Has anyone else experienced this? I have been a loyal GM driver all my life but this has almost destroyed the loyalty. FYI I talked with the dealership where I bought the truck and they said I needed to see a General Tire Store or Dealership.

Buy 10 ply tires and forget about the factory ones. E rated is the only way to go if you drive on gravel a lot.

I have 130 000klm on my General Grabber , but mine are on a 3500 sieries truck 10 ply.

Not One thing bad about this tire for me. I take the truck everywhere.

The Grabber HTS was highly rated by Consumer Reports (whatever that is worth) a few years ago.
