As I just purchased them for my 2/5 drop that is more like a 3/6 drop.  Nitro 2 shocks are better?  I'm bottoming out on the smallest of bumps and its just irritating me.  Especially since I can't get any help from the shop that did my drop and the damn truck is brand new.  I guess I'll contact Belltech tomorrow and see if they can exchange the 2210FF that I just bought.

My truck is designed for daily driving, no heavy loads to carry, etc. (We have a crew cab for heavy load use). When I was using the 2210FF, I find  the ride to be stiff, i didn’t like the way it bounces, it feels like a lowered street racing car, though when I used it to buy some stuffs at the hardware store, the ride improved. When I watched one of Reklez youtube post, it was mentioned they prefer to use the nitro drop shocks on regular cabs. So I did and could not be more happy with the result. I suggest use the 2210FF first and when you have the chance, try also using the nitro drop. See it for yourself, if you will.

Thanks Nasty & 204-WPG. I’m going to try and have them installed next week and see how the ride is.

Nasty will the OEM  Denali 22” wheel with Bridgestone 285/45/22 (?) work with my current set up? I have a guy that’s ready to sell a set but idk if I’ll rub.

I'm running 285/45/22's on my regular cab.  They are a little tall for my liking but they fit fine.  They only rub the inner fender liners on very big dips.  I am a little lower than you.

Had the 2210FF installed with the 3.5F 6R on my regular cab standard box and I love them. Rides great.  Everybody's truck is different, regular cabs are different animals. Had the Nitro shocks in my 2002 with a 2-4 and was never happy with them.

I'm not far from you, where did you get the belltech kit and who did you use for the install?

A good friend of mine did the install and got the kit for me. Getting to old to do it myself.

When I first bought my truck it had 3/6 and 305/40r22s on reps. And I rubbed on my sway bar. But that's all. Just because of the width. But not enough to bug me.

And thats why I really went to him. I was going to let him re-bag my '66 Caddy but after this.....uh, nah.....I'll pass.  Not interested.

So I've delt with reklez for the last 3 months. Buying lots of parts. I stopped buying their parts when I purchased a 2 piece drive line from them. I was about to install it and called to ask a question and he said " oh, dont install that. We dont sell a 2 piece driveline for double cabs any longer" I then screen shot all our conversation where he told me axactly what I needed to purchase. He replied with well, I guess I'll except your return although we typically do not except returns like he was doing me a favor. I do think they make a quality product but their tub kits being so expensive are actually the exact same tubs from avs. Which are way cheaper. But from the same manufacturer.  Also, he recently told me that he doesn't have time to answer my questions because he has big projects going on at the shop and my 6/9 drop with tubs is "old news" to me customer service is 90% of the sale. So I'm done buying their stuff.

I won’t go to them again or recommend them.  I did not have a good experience after I paid them.  Customer service is the key for me.

Any chance you still have the part # for the kit? The one I see online is for trucks with aluminum  A-arms and I have steel.

I got the 1012SP. It came with the Street Performance shocks. I love them. A lot of guys on this forum think they are to stiff, but I don't think so. Had the nitro drop shocks on my 2002 and didn't like them. Love this kit on my truck it rides great. This kit works with steel control arms.

    • On 2021 3500hd it consistently sets automatically when selecting park if the incline/decline is above a certain angle.
    • Curious, did anyone ever get a fix for the vibration reported here.   I have a 2024 Silverado with 6.6 duramax.   I’m noting the same vibration resonating up through the steering shaft into the steering wheel.    Best way to describe- like someone is tapping on the steering shaft/components and it’s resonating into the steering wheel.    thanks.
    • Hi friends - first time poster. I have a 2015 sierra Denali with 150k miles, I’m the second owner and she’s given me 75k of great service. I run a pulse AFM disable device. Starting Thursday when I exited the freeway after a short local ride it started idling rough, with an obvious misfire shake and was down on low end power.  I got it home and hooked it up to my scannner and found no codes but in live data a pretty bad misfire on cylinder 5. I replaced the coil, plug and wire with all new OE replacements (Delphi gn10165 coil, acdelco wire and 41-168 plug). It’s still behaving the same way after firing the parts cannon at it.   I know cyl 5 is a non AFM cylinder so I am not thinking this is AFM related but I’m kinda at a loss. injector? Bent pushrod? It’s running too well over 1k rpm to suggest those IMO. Has anyone chase this issue before and what was it? Any suggestions?
    • 2017 Silverado L83 5.3l 6speed transmission Hello, not a new member but havent posted in a while and my old signup info isnt working so had to create a new account. anyways, I have an issue with my truck and hope someone can spread some light on whats happening: -when it goes to 4cyl mode it makes a clunk sound (but not when coasting or going downhill) -when in 4 cyl mode and under load it makes a load pulsating sound (not a tick). -goes away completely when in M5 gear or when plugging in an AFM delete. Im guessing it is one of 2 things but im not convinced of either to be honest. 1. lifter stuck in v8 mode 2. torque converter shudder realistically it doesn't seem like the TC as there is no physical vibration , and it never happens in v8 mode. but maybe? and wouldnt a lifter make a sound whether with load or not? any ideas let me know please. thank you!
    • Which has made me wonder with the various engine failures of a few brands in the last few years, is it sub par materials such as lifters etc causing failures, or bearing clearances on the crank etc or perhaps bad designing of an engine physically or causing too much load on the components due to the hp/torque they can push out of them. Or is the oil viscosity and additive package of current oils or a lack of oil flow by an oil pump not able to supply sufficient oil at idle or under high load at low rpm. Or is it every item I listed that combined together has pushed the limits so far to the left that there is hardly a margin of safety left and add in some fuel dilution and too long of an OCI and premature engine failure is the result ?.
