I knew you'd like them! And I really like the white light vs. AMP's purplish LEDs

Man I love them! Wish I would've got a set a long time ago! I'm 6'2 and the factory steps were awkward to use and awkward to step over. These amps are perfect.

Purchased some AMP Steps from a member on here last week. Finally got a chance to install them today. I ended up cutting off the lights that came with the steps and putting some better/brighter ones I got off eBay. Very pleased with the steps and the upgraded lights!

So the AMP steps come with lights? Didn't think they came that way

Yea they do. There are two leads on each side with lights. They are more of a blue than a white tho. Here's a pic I found on Google.

They come with lights but they are terrible. The price tag is certainly for the boards, not lights [emoji23]

I purchased a 16ft strip of lights off eBay for $8, cut it in half and then cut down to proper size, full board illumination, perfect and everyone thinks it's OEM

Color wise, yes they match but the step lights are much brighter which is fine with me.

Installed these 5000LM LED headllights http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/351578649307 ... The color matches perfect to the factory DRL LEDs but the light output is not any better than stock, not sure if I'm going to keep them or switch back to HIDs

That is a lot of work to mask them off. Some people just use a deck of cards around the rim. I like the just spray it and rub it right off the tire.

They look good.

I masked mine too. I did a test and had a hard time getting all the overspray off. I was using charcoal grey so it stood out more.

Only pain with masking is that the tape tends to pull up the edges. Found this out the hard way on my grille this weekend.

Had some vinyl bowties made for my wheels. The XD logo wasnt my cup o tea... now they look more like the CK158s imo

Got new tint put on the front two windows. 35 percent. I had 15 percent but I got a ticket for it last week, so my parents made me go lighter...

Thanks to tim99gt! He put me on some great led strips. i got my running board lights installed today. I dont have the AMP steps, but i hooked mine to the dome light circuit
