Nice touch, but I could see that getting old very quick. Many times I go outside to my truck to grab something I forgot to find my door is locked. My neighbors would hate me.

Ha ha yes that could happen.

I've done this mod on all my vehicles since I started driving, so I'm used to it and rarely forget to unlock.

This one was by far the most difficult.

You won't see it in the maintenance schedule as technically, GM doesn't use "break-in" fluids as they once did. However, you will find a lot of owners do their first oil change (and other fluids) early just as personal preference. Personally, I don't put a lot of miles per year on my vehicles, so my first oil change was at 3,000 miles (I had my first 4 done at 6 month intervals, then switched to full synthetic, Mobile 1 and it will be one change annually). Now, I should also tell you that my dealer provides the first 4 oil changes during the first two years at whatever interval the customer desires and does not limit it by the OLM percentage.

You will hear as many opinions on this as there are drivers...

With all the bullshit I've been told from my dealer about oil changes I really don't know what or who to believe anymore. They told me to not go by the monitor, to come in at 7000k, and even if I go with fully synthetic oil, still come in at 7000k. I asked what the advantage of having fully synthetic is then, since I've heard you can go almost twice the distance on it, and he just told me longer engine life.

I run Mobil 1 EP (full syn) and change every 7500 miles. I do a lot more towing than most guys here and I'm hard on my truck so she deserves it lol

I removed the rear block as well as the front plastic air dam. Now she sits 38.5" in the rear and 39" in the front

Ummmm ive got 3,000 miles on mine with no "break-in oil change" done. I see no mention in my manual either... should i be concerned here?

I wouldn't. I've done all my oil changes at 5000, including the first one.

It's not a big lean, just looks like that way in the pictures, in person it's almost dead level.

Are your turn signals switchbacks?

how are they working for you?

I am on the fence between these and smoking mine.

Why not get some clear corners from Klearz and smoke them?

Installed a Truxedo Lo Pro QT tonneau cover today. Really easy install. Took an hour tops. From opening the box to taking the pic. My apologies for the pics. I'm keeping the truck in hibernation over the winter to keep some Wisconsin salt off.

Other completed mod/act are

Line-x platinum bed liner

Weather tech mats

Rust proofing

Undercoating

Fogs on w/ high beams

Installed a set of COB LEDs in my interior front footwell areas. Tied in to my dome light circuit so they come on with keyless remote and switch. Also fade out when turned off for a great effect. These lights are awesome. These are the same lights i used as puddle lights over my running boards (u can see those in pic 2) and cost less than $6 per pair shipped!

Smoothed and painted my mirrors and fender plastics. Never again. Lol. Don't want to see another piece of sand paper ever again.
