Btw, if anyone else is looking to do this mod, and dont amp reaserch steps that have the convenience of the extra harness, heres where i tied into my dome light circuit.

Yes. Using this grey wire, When u turn on the dome lights, the running board lights do indeed come on, even if driving. They also fade on and off just as the dome lights do, for a pretty cool effect when locking and unlocking via keyless remote

Foamed her followed by a good claying, CG Blacklight and Optiseal....probably put down a couple coats of PB Nattys Blue in a day or two. Wanted to get it protected and ready for winter.

Haha! Yea my wife has driven mine once with me in the passenger seat an my anxiety was thru the roof! But yesterday, during Thanksgiving, i was on the phone with relatives, when my wife said "im taking the truck to the store" and i really wasnt paying attention as i was distracted by my conversation, only to hang up a few mins later and realize what had happened... all was ok, but that still didnt stop me from doing a thorough walk around inspection afterwards lol Edited November 28, 2015 by dbcooper748
