Hit the first one at 45 killed it on impact. Didn't do as much damage as I thought it would. Second deer I was going 55 and saw it coming across and slammed on my brakes, it was a love tap at around 20 lol

The first thing i always do is put on deer whistles... no joke i drive a lot and they're a very big help

Well was finally able to save enough to have a productive weekend.

Installed an RC 2.5" level upfront

Removed front air damn

Added Method Mesh 17x8.5 0 offset wrapped in Toyo ATll 285/75r17's

Installed 14" Magnaflow exhaust dumped after the axle

5% Tint all the way around

Installed XB Led fogs (man were those a PITA!)

Attempted to install a 55w Silverado Spec kit from TRS, but had a bad ballast.

(still waiting on a K&N intake)

Also waiting on intake! Truck looks good!

Plasti-dipped my front bowtie and added my ltz badge to my new oem high country grill20160223_124651.jpg

Hi DB, how did you attach the LTZ badge? I kept my badge, but didn't think about installing it in the HC grille...looks nice

Thanks! Well i tried modifying it to snap in like on the previous grill, to no avail. Instead i dremeled it almost completely flat and cleaned both surfaces with acetone, and applied a liberal amount of double-sided red 3m tape. So far it has held up nicely. That tape really works well as long as both surfaces are cleaned and prepped well

Makes sense. I took quick look at it when I took it off the honeycomb grille and then put it on my work bench. I figured I'd take a look at it later on. Good idea though...if the badging stays on the doors and tail gate with the tape, then it should stay on the grille.

Pushed the front bumper in on both sides (hit two deer). Broke driver side headlight housing and part of the grille. Barely noticeable unless you look. Fixed the broken headlight with JB Weld PlasticWeld lol I don't think I have any pictures. Some chipped paint up front as well

Dang two deer? Sounds like the Chevy is holding strong so far though!

Hit one in August of 14 with my 02 silverado and broke the deer in two, only broke my lower valance and a fog light. $200 repair, lifted trucks FTW lol

Did the ADD W1 oil catch can and shorty antenna (I kept hitting the stock one on my garage and was annoyed).

Also (not today, but haven't posted pictures) nFab steps, 20% tint on front windows and strip across top of windshield, and black emblems.

Installed a diablosport tune [emoji2]

Throttle lag is taken out, Trans shifts faster and a tad firmer, feels quicker but that's just my mind probably lol. May adjust it to hard shift and see how I like it. I'm running the e85/ 91 octane tune
