Where are these copper rings located? Where did you hear about removing them reduces vibration? Thanks!

There's a forum on here somewhere about it. Here's a pic of a screenshot I had saved, the copper rings are the number 2 on the picture and there's only like 1 or 2 per side. 6754cb2be055e1f7a8e18305ae88e888.jpg

I usually always take those off the first time I ever check brakes or whatever. Those are just added on at the factory to hold rotors in place during assembly.

Don't understand how people are posting about all these trucks but not this one. This is by far one of the way better looking trucks.

Had a question do you have a big rake in the back? Looks taller in the back and also how likely are you to recommend a lift over a level?

I had a level with 33s on my 2012 and I actually took it offroading unlike 90% of the people that alter there truck for an offroad look. Was kind of wanting to lift but is it worth the jump in price?

Wow, Thanks for the compliment . Yes I do have more lift in the back. I drag race my Corvette and pull a trailer so I added a 2" AAL in the back.

I definitely would recommend a lift over a level. Some levels bind the coil to archive the extra 2" lift in the front. This lift kit by BDS and Zone does a great job at retaining factory angles and ride quality. With a proper tune, ( a real tune, not the BS diablo or blackbear) A real tune like HPtuners where you truly tune the truck it will get more power and also get same gas mileage as stock.. That was my case.

Blackbear is top of the line, its not a canned tune. Justin looks at your data logging and tunes it based on your driving habits

If thats what you wanna think then ok, Ive got over 15 years of building engines, really costume tuning, and racing. If you wanna think that something mailed to you is not a form of "canned tune" then Okedoke. Im not bashing Justine.. What he does is better than Diablo, but not a true custome tune like HPtuners where someone that tunes the truck or car actually Sat IN THE CAR..

No stake in this as most tune I'll do is speedo adjustment on a truck but mail or in person data logging is data logging. Most in person custom tunes I've had started with a copy of one similar or canned if you want to call it that and then tweaked. If your data logging and and tuning to the logs doesn't matter how far away you are.

Your experience and knowledge is not complete then. I really dont care to get into this debate because there are to many that assume without knowing the truth on how a Real tune is done. Alot more that just a data log is needed to truly custom tune any PCM or TMCU. So I will bow out on this subject. At the end of the day I drive the truck I built and tuned and I race the car a I built and tuned. Everyone else can drive there trucks with there tunes that UPS dropped off.

Saw the argument that the others posted but I'm not seeing their trucks being put to use. I am truly clueless on why you tune the truck. Mind explaining? Is it to compensate for the bigger tires?

Oh don't worry I'm not putting anyone down or calling them out on their facts. Just like how the guys truck looked and wondered more about it. I haven't done anything to my truck so I have no room to talk. Only thing I don't understand is why all these people are putting new tires on their trucks when it's obvious there tires aren't worn down yet.

Dilema

I had an in person tune on my truck by Justin , however I have also had updates via email (not UPS) from him. Am I one step up from the guy who got an UPS tune? lol

Oh you definitely are calling people out with that first sentence. Don't need to drive through mud to understand how computers work.
