Where'd you pick up the dynamat? I need to get some to start inside my truck when I have the back seat out.

Amazon. $150 shipped for 9 sheets. I used 8 sheets for rear floor and back wall

Not much different. But I didn't do doors or front yet

^^ Do the doors, floor pan, and toe board, you'll see a big difference. Chevy comes with better factory silencing materials than Ford or Chrysler. I have been doing prototype, development for over 15 years total for Chevy and Chrysler. When I had a new DODGE RAM back in '03 (lease) I was always checking my doors and windows to make sure they weren't open, I couldn't stand it....

Not like what he's doing...

I believe what they have is a seal to help the door speakers resonate. Your had to remove it, mat the surfaces underneath, then relayer a new resonance sheet

If my guess is right, looking at his work so far, he'll probably do the whole inside of the outer door skin. that will in effect, help cancel the road noise, and make the whole door a "box" for the speaker, and also give him more low, and mid depth. At least, that's what I would do, LOL...

That's what the factory layer is doing, making it a "box"
