Both bulbs are from DiodeDynamics. I've had great experiences with them in the past so I've continued to stick with their products. Everything on my truck right now is from DD except the LED tail lights which you can't really change, obviously. I did put in their LED reverse bulbs though.

BTW

If you are looking for a good "waterless" wash, I found it for you.

Mother's Speed waterless wash & wax.

I've tried several and wasn't impressed, this stuff did.

Last weekend I was up north for the 4 day weekend and the nearest car wash was about 20 miles away. It never rained so my truck didn't get dirty but it was so humid every morning the truck was soaking wet. It was 90 and very humid every day we were there.

I travel with all my detailing stuff in two homer pails.

15-20 microfiber towels, a few ounces of this, about 30 minutes and it was spotless. No streaks or smears. I did this 3 days in a row every morning. Probably have 3 left in this bottle.

I recommend it. Five stars.

I didn't see a new member intro thread, so... Hi.

Not today, but this week I traded in and got new to me 2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71 - crew cab/standard bed.  14xxx miles and the price was far less than 'worse' trucks. Only things I didn't like were color (Iridescent Pearl) and the color match bumpers instead of chrome.  Live in city, and parallel parking won't bode well for painted bumpers. I'd have preferred something like Graphite Metallic but if that's the worst thing to complain about, I'm well off. It was originally Canadian so it has metric gauges I can live with for now.  Also has some more rust underneath than I care for; understandable since it spent 3 years in harsher winters than I get. Appears to be just superficial, I'll be getting that treated then undercoated shortly. Has soft tonneau cover that I'll be switching to some form of hard (folding?) cover.

Today I did order some new console trays, rear under seat storage, K&N 77 series intake. Seen mixed reviews for that now but had it & liked it on my old truck (02 Silverado LS ECSB), so it was reflexive decision.

Installed ReadyLift 2.25” rear blocks for 1” of lift. I would not recommend them.

I really like that the ReadyLift block is cast steel. However, we had problems with the install because the sand casting was too rough. The hole that accepts the bolt head from the spring pack was too small. The hole was .500 and the bolt head was .622. A whole 1/8” too small, so it would not seat properly. They really should have machined that hole after casting. Luckily the neighbor had ends mills and we could machine it ourselves.

All told, what should be an easy job took 2 hours to get it done properly.

Installed my 33s on MotoMetal 970s 20x10 -24 offset. I'm very very happy with everything, did some minor plastic trimming with a dremel and have only slight rubbing on fender liners at full lock.b74c845a88ddcdb01b9f593b0465baa1.jpg177c4554e94c9fbe685b47beccbffda5.jpg06a6500f507009a2064d201cf82622d0.jpg
