Finally finished the rear wall platform and latest audio install in my 2016 Regular Cab today. Everything including the sub enclosure is built from Baltic Birch plywood and I’ll post full construction pics on my build log when I get a chance. I added a bolt to the cover I made for the seatbelt mechanism so I could mount the jack tools using the original mounting hardware since I used the original stud as a mounting point for the platform. I also added a mesh storage pocket and will install a couple more smaller ones in the open areas for my flashlight etc next to/under the amp (tired of hearing stuff roll around in my jump seat)

Nothing too crazy, just installed boost auto dual function (cargo and reverse) wiring harness. This way the LED lights on my tow mirrors will turn on when the truck unlocks at night and automatically when I put it in reverse. This still gives me the ability to turn them on with my cargo lights as well. Nothing major just a nice feature.

Today I felt like was going to pull the threads out of the block while torquing head bolts. Fun stuff. [emoji28]0e2626bf194f01207dd6bfc192c612b4.jpg

BTR stage 1 NA cam, BTR dual platinum valve springs and titanium retainers, BTR hardened pushrods, Johnson racing lifters. Just basic DOD delete. Adding headers in the process as well.

sounds like a fun project.  on your cam from BTR did they mention anything about checking the lash on the fuel pushrod pump lobe, or are you using a stock fuel lobe grind?

i've read on some profile grinds if , you dont use a lash cap, your loosing a lot of fuel flow, negating the extra fuel lobe increase..

Stock lobe. According to BTR I can add a lash cap to over drive the pump. I left it for now.

did you sneak the chain passed the oil pump or pull the pump off?

you need to watch all of Preston's videos. he explains the lash cap. its not for overdriving the pump, its needed when you upgrade the fuel lobe due to cam grind offset

That's what I thought. Just going off of what I was told by BTR. I said screw it. Made sure the pump wasn't binding or bottom out and installed it with no lash cap. I found it weird BTR said I could over drive the pump with a factory fuel lobe and lash cap as well.

maybe so.. they have more experience than me. but the factory didnt design it to be overdriven. so reliability may suffer

Threw on some MSD wires and heat sleeves after doing the plugs last week. Will have to report back to see if I get any kind of fuel or response benefits from them.

Also replaced tail lights with LTZ factory ones I got from a member here for a good price. In. Love. With. Them

And I know it wasn't today but I added 2 more stickers on the back for my Celtic heritage and American pride. Not car related so I don't think I'll get the HP gains... ac2cb7207bf2a9257657ff763ada50b6.jpg1779775f7eb9349840a172c0637ee7d0.jpg02461d9dd4b36b0fb308a2ac603b16de.jpg
