What tail lights do you have on your truck? Are they the Morimoto XB LED tail lights?

yes they are the Morimoto's, a little pricey but I like them a lot. I had the  same issue out of the box like others have reported "bad resistors" but morimoto sent replacements out in about a week they have worked perfectly since then.

I am considering putting those on my truck as well. What resistors fail? I thought they were encased in one unit with out the need for external resistors.

The resistors are attached to the back of the lights they are removable/replaceable. I bought them off of amazon since that was the best price, out of the box they had hyperflash, I messaged the seller and morimoto shipped the new resistors directly to me. all they wanted to know was if I had any other led's installed which I did not.

Nice stance! Where did you get the grill with the LED illuminated bowtie?

I did mine almost a year ago, LOVE IT!!!  Got mine from the local dealership.  I think that the 14-15 is different than the 16-18.  A neighbor/friend of mine has one on his 14, it doesn't shine as bright as mine does.  It may be that my neighbor has a first gen illuminated bow tie.

Just a FYI:  You will have to drill a hole thru the grill, mine was off-centered a bit.

Those illuminated bow ties look great on painted grills. I want to try it on my chrome grill but not sure how well it will turn out.

That's what my neighbor has, chrome grill.

Probly putting these on today, brushed “aluminum” center caps. I like how it goes with the rest of the aluminum on the wheel. The polished chrome ones are just out of place IMO.

Of course now I’m into that section of mods that you do when you’re bored and can’t think of mods to do but you just have to be doing something to your truck. [emoji1787][emoji1787]715c33409f94b144714aa452501d0edc.jpg

And they look good! Haha perfect fit too.

Figured I'd wrap my fogs in yellow tint. Looked good on my old jeep, but I'm kinda mixed on its look. Functions well, yellow did seem to do better in the snow at night, but I'm not sold. Had mixed reviews from coworkers and friends. Thoughts on here?

First and second are for how it looks in the day and night, third is headlights only (LED) and last is yellow tinted fogs only.

Output is still quite significant, but part of me thinks its brighter. [emoji848]

Also shoutout to my old jeep who is on the left, now owned by my grandpa. 7c8b744454677c87732c21a2b86373fe.jpg98ffdca1bb5e79ae5620d8f5876a80ee.jpg73ab347abd622a6663a62a329e374ea8.jpg060943048e4bf5e9220fbe9c58e99a1c.jpg

Nothing too interesting, just installed my 3rd battery in 26,000 miles (original lasted 17,000 miles before dropping a cell and warranty replacement only lasted 9,000 miles before dropping a cell) and mounted my Maglite behind the seat.

I dig it. I put a pair of LED bulbs in my fogs on my tundra that were toggleable from white to yellow. They were always white when they came on, but if you turned them off/on real quick they’d turn yellow and I used it a ton. What’d you use to wrap them??
