Well that sucks ass. Was that your neighbor?

Don't take me wrong and I hate to say it though, you left your truck in a vulnerable position. I never park in front of a driveway just for that exact reason.

I over think stuff like thatemoji3166.png.

Let's see a pic of the carnage.

Well, that is my sister-in-law and brother.  She was the driver. They were both in the vehicle when they hit my truck. 😠

Honestly looked a lot worse in the video, I thought she hit your door jamb and that would have really sucked! Glad it looks like it’ll be just a fender, sorry it happened though!

[emoji51] Oof. I'd be heated to some extent like why not see how close in the mirrors or backup cameras but things happen, as long as my insurance wasn't taking the hit and I don't pay out of pocket at all I'd be okay with it in the end. I'd also have to give em some S**T for it at the next family gathering just for good fun too [emoji28]

Sorry to see it happen in any case my man

You have a beautiful truck, sir. Watching that happen in the video was rough! I'm so sorry.
Like mentioned above, at the speed/angle and just the sheer sound of it, I thought it was a lot worse. At least it's just that one panel. Still, that hurts... 😟

So I'm one of those 'enable all pages' type of guys where I have the pages on the cluster even for the crap I don't use, and while I was scrolling I noticed I hit 3000 hours on my truck, which I don't know how good that is to see or not.

My truck is a 2016 with 93K on her.

I know for a fact the day I picked it up it was 2303 with 76K on it so I did 1st grader math an found I spent almost 700hours in that truck in the past 17 months putting on 17K on her.

Just seems like a lot, but I'm curious what everybody else has mileage and hours wise. Can't tell if this is a lot or average. Certainly not low... lol 723f41e157f0cdbeceeb149d681b0805.jpg235b3ff702f4f89ff7a05d50a09cc7b3.jpg

That'll buff out!  😉

Ask my wife about just tearing up the clear coat on the bed of my ME with the lens on our daughter's camera, 3 months after I bought it.  I was PISSED at her for months, but she'll tell you that I'm still pissed at her.  I'll post a picture or two of that one after I get home tonight.  She'll also tell you that if that happened to my truck, family or not, I would have been beating them down until the cops showed up.

In 2004, my MIL's neighbor pulled into his driveway, towing a boat, and then he backed out of the driveway, almost totaled our 03 Neon, drivers side fender, headlamp, grill, hood, and alignment.

Funny that you mention clear coat.  My truck was literally taken out of storage this week and right before getting hit, local home improvement store employees scratched my tailgate a day prior to my in-law hitting my truck.  The truck is in the body shop right now with two different claims.  Needless  to say, it is having a rough week.  Here is what they did to the tailgate.

As for hours, on my 2017, I got ya beat ... on miles, not so much.
I'm a wimp and I let my truck warm up for 10 and 20 minutes at a time as I get ready for work.
In the summer, same, as I let it cool down. :D

I just took mine yesterday... I have a 2018 that I purchased in April of 2019.  I purchased new with 120 miles because they drove it from the dealership in lake county ca to their other location in Vacaville...

Mine was white, like that, 9" long and about 1/2" wide.  A good friend of mine said that it would buff out, so I washed just that panel on the bed, dried it, waxed it, buffed it, and it's still kind of there.
