22" Replica Denali Wheels

305-40-22 Toyo Tires

TRUCK5.jpg

That's a classic wheel that always looks good on GM trucks.

Very Nice!

GTALLDAY has similar Moto wheels like that on his iridium build and it looks quite good, i'm just wild about the Shiny-ness.

Saw this a couple weeks ago and was surprised at how good this wheel looked on Iridium. This truck looked incredible in person. Sorry for the lousy picture quality.image_zpsaa2nfbd0.jpg

I need help deciding on some tires.

I'm torn between the BFG AT KO2 and the Cooper Discoverer AT3. The BFG is probably a more aggressive looking, definitely more expensive ( about $400 more). But I like the Coopers because they will probably ride a little quieter and have a bit more of a refined look compared to the BFG's. I've had BFG ATs in the past, and they were always great tires. But I feel like they are very common and a lot of people run them. Coopers have a 55,000 mile warranty. I can't find a mileage warranty on the KO2's.

I have decided on a size, LT285/55r20. Which is just slightly taller and wider than stock, which is fine. I have my Bilstein leveling shocks set at 1.25" up front which gives me a little extra clearance and I do not want to rub at all. My truck is a street queen, but it can see some dirt on occasion. The stock Goodyear SRA's are just not cutting it, crappy traction all around in any condition. While the stock Goodyears don't ride all that bad, they do seem to get a little wobbly at speeds above 75mph.

I will be mounting whatever tires I buy on my stock 20" All Terrain wheels.

Looking for opinions and thoughts.

I'm sure Coopers are awesome ... but for me i gave the KO2 a chance back n November before winter got here... they've been great 17,000 miles so on them so far. I went with 275/60/20... my next set will be 275/65/20 n bfg ko2. Just took this pick. I think these tires will do 60,000 + miles easy. 8bee5a8226cc0f959535ed53bfabf8ed.jpg

Thanks. I know the KO2's would probably do well mileage wise. One thing that bothers me about them tho is the new sidewall design. Seems a little busy to me.

I wish 285/55/20 came in something other than 10ply e load. They're just over kill for the typical street truck.

I have the Cooper AT3s in a 275/60/20 and love them. Quiet good off road and smooth.

My buddy got the AT3s but he isn't a really a truck guy so i doubt he can tell me how they handle. Everyone has KO2s, solid AT, good wear, great looking tire as well. But as you said pricey.

I'd save 40$ a tire between the K02s and grab 285/55/20 Toyo ATIIs

I had the AT3's on my 2012, I was happy with them in the summer, but once the snow came I wasn't as impressed… I have a set of KO2's sitting in the garage, but I haven't put them on yet to know what they are like…

I'll be moving to Nevada soon, so snow is not really a concern for me. :)

Put a deposit down on some Discoverer AT3's this afternoon. Should have them installed sometime next week. I'm sure the BFG's are great, but something about them made me want to go a different route. Thanks for all who posted.
