Shorter antenna??

This may have been asked before but I can't find it. Has anyone found a aftermarket antenna that fits the 2014's? I've bought two so far and they don't fit even with the supplied adapters. If you guys bought one, where did you get it and what brand?

 

My first 2014 I just cut the antenna, I do t want to do that this time. Any help is appreciated!

I got a $10 screw on from O'reillys for my 2010 and swapped it over to the '14. Works like a charm.

that little stub antenna is nice.. I got one a few months back. Was tired of antenna hitting top of garage door.

I know it's a pain in the butt and unattractive but it is a nice low overhead warning indicator!

+1 on the Stubby. Works great, and super easy to change out. All you need is a wrench.

There must be something wrong with the stud on my truck. The stubby doesn't fit either?

I had one of these installed on my 2011 F150. I never really listened to FM, but the signal got WAY worse, and if its any consolation, it was never very good from he start in the F150 either, even with the big antenna.

 

I'd install one just for the pure looks though, but I take my truck into a parking garage once in a while, and the antenna is a good measuring tool. If the antenna clears, the cab does with plenty of room to spare.

The main reason I want a shorter one is because it scrapes the garage door...well a good bit more than a scrape. Anyway I don't know why I can't get one to fit when everyone else can. I may just have to cut the old OEM one down.

Does anyone know what length the stock antenna is? 31"?
