Just called the dealer and the bulletin applies to my sierra, so I will be bringing it in on Thursday. Taking a nice long road trip on Friday so I should get some good testing opportunity with it.

I just picked mine up and yes it feels like a different truck now. I'm going to have to get use to driving it again.

SMOOOOOOTH shifting.

Definatly get this done.

I'm wondering if there is a bulletin for 2wd (obviously not transfer case related) but possibly driveability related. Has anyone been to the dealer recently with a 2wd?

Would you mind seeing if they have anything for 2wd trucks if you are willing? If not I will be calling my dealer this week. Thanks in advance!

Just for 4x4...trucks with transfer cases,...

Totally understand that. Just seeing if maybe they had something for the "driveability" part for the 2wd's that everyone seems to be raving about.

Update from Blackbear performance: nothing was changed in the ECM or TCM files. The TCCM is the only module affected here. It's likely the TCCM was incorrectly handling torque which is why if felt clunky and harsh.

I would still advise people to return to stock tuning before having the update applied just to mitigate any chance of tune corruption.

Called my dealer and my truck dosent have the recall available...it was built in May '15 after the fact of needing the update, even though it drives like crap anyway, its up to date on all its software ...guess I'm back to looking into the tune

Posted this in another thread also, should have just posted it here.

An Update...

I just got off the phone with my local dealership again and they state a few things.

1. #15304 is a recall, but it might not qualify on my trick (as they say is doesn't) because of my build date. Does anyone know what are the qualifying build dates, and where do I find mine?

2. RECALL 9101695 & RECALL 9101552 are not recall numbers. All GM recalls start with either 15 or 15 and are five digit numbers. Said they would perform all needed TSB's and Recalls as the mechanic saw fit given the driving issues I described. I dont like the sound of that.

The sticker on your driver's side door jamb/sill has the build date.

My 2014 truck has a June 2014 build date, I emailed my service advisor and he said it applies to much truck. Will take it in soon.
