Not much new for me, still traveling lots. Check in on USA, we have a big dunes trip in June.

MHPrior is also a Mike. Someone decided we had to be differentiated somehow and they went for the obvious.

Just installed these Philips 921 LED reverse lamps and neither one works!? I pushed them all the way until they seated properly. Anyone have any ideas?

Solved. Works just fine. Just the installer (me) doesn't work properly.

Try flipping them the other way?

I had installed them quickly, then went back and did just that - hilarious. What an amateur! Thanks for your reply.

Big difference in light output. Now I want to swap-out taillights/brake lights.

I found the Phillips to be really dim in my Sierra, these JDM's destroys the Philips for light output. installed in reverse and CHMSL, cargo & 3rd brake light.

Sierra's have different reverse reflectors vs Chevy's, the Philips just don't do as well in reverse vs JDM's.

Reverse:

CHMSL: (these don't work well in reverse tail-lamp, see above)

No problem. I love the Philips bulbs. Be careful with doing your tail lights though; you'll probably need resistors to prevent hyper-flashing.

I want to change the cargo lights and reverse lights but I already changed my late lights to these. Will I still get the on star email say8ng my lights are out even though they aren't? I get the email with my licence plate lights already

I replaced the reverse and cargo lights with philips and haven't had issues. But I still get the onstar email and the biweekly call from the dealer telling me I have a license plate light out.

I did this yesterday as well. Got 3 sets for the cargo, reverse, and lp lights from pep boys. $19.99 each

Which Philips bulbs did everyone use for backup lamps; the 921-12789LPB2 or the 921-12841B2?

Amazon shipped me the 921-12789LPB2 which do not fit the socket

Sylvaina ZEVO 921's fit the backup sockets. I re-purposed the Philips 921-12789LPB2 in the rear cargo lights above the cab
