Been watching this topic and glad there has been improvement in light performance. I called my dealer today and he was unaware of the bulletin, but was very willing to look it up and get bulbs on order. Will see how this goes from here......

Is it possible to get the fog lights to come on with the low beams? Instead of pushing the button every time...

yes there is a tread for the fog lights on with low beams.

Had mine done today and I csn see the bulbs are brighter but they are aligned horribly

You may have to make sure the bulbs are seated correctly. Mine had a dark spot between the head lights the drivers side bulb was not seated right.

In regards to fogs matching the headlights, it won't even be a close match. LED Cree are around 6000-6500K and the Vosla halogen are 4000-4300K.

Ditto, several pages back I have a picture that shows a dead spot, my pass light wasn't in correctly

So the vosla's match the led running lights!!! Awesome!!!

I think he was looking to match fogs to the new headlight's color.

Correct these bulbs are for the fogs to match headlights

Well I finally got to drive mine on dry roads last night. I had been using the modified 9012 bulbs, now I am on the updated BCM programming and the new VOLSA 9011 bulb.

From what I can tell they new setup is as bright as the 9012 bulb and is about equal. The one noticeable change is the new VOLSA bulb is a whiter light than the 9012 bulb so that is a plus.

I am pretty happy with the improvement, I also had to lower my headlights down a bit from where I had them, so now my high beam aim is better as well. I actually got brighted the other night by an oncoming car where before if I flashed someone they never noticed.

I took the truck out for a spin with the new bulbs and BCM update, the new setup is a major improvement!

I ordered a pair of these this morning...... Gonna try 'em out here in the rural ranch country where I live. Maybe get some more additional peripherial lighting in addition to my PIT5374 headlight upgrade ......

And I also finally found the GM Part #23342527 on line at a GM dealer here in Texas and so, I ordered two more of the Vosla bulbs to have on hand for spares ....... I learned a long time ago out here in the "real" boonies, to have spare headlight bulbs on hand. I recently had two low beam bulbs go out on my 2005 GMC Sierra within 30 minutes of each other and I was 17 miles from the ranch. Made it home on the fogs and highbeams. Replace both bulbs next morning and immediately ordered new Silverstar Ultras for spares.....

I took my truck to dealer and got the BCM update and new bulbs. I tried it out last night in the country and will say it is a major improvement. Overall better brightness and peripheral vision greatly improved in low beam and high beam is major improvement. I still think the lights need to be aimed a tad higher as I still have the somewhat low sight line while in low beam.

I now have no complaints about this awesome truck.

BTW, my dealer said I was the third Sierra that he performed the update on.
