I was wondering, whether the 2016 Sierra Denali will get LED headlights?

I think HIDs will go in before they consider LEDs

That would be my guess too, especially since the new yukons have them now. I guess it's just too hard to offer that as an option on a pickup truck lol.

Called different dealer this am and gave them part no.23342527 vosla bulb. Also gave them PIT5374A. Could have bought two acres on the moon easier! She said bulbs are not in any dist. centers? Like I said before, number of trucks sold x2 equals number needed! Then she said is there anything else I can help you with. Gotta love them.

not backordered in canada... once my dealership found out this service bulletin existed they ordered a few sets.

Finally got my dealer to perform the upgrade. Made a big improvement, but.... Now the headlight buckets need replacing and the mechanic left a trim removal tool under the hood.

Went back to have new headlights installed... this time they did not snap in the piece that goes under the lights correctly, no big deal it just needed to be pushed in. The big thing is they put a small dent along with to small scratches in the passenger fender. Big enough to see but not big enough to fix. I know this was no there before because I would have seen it when I washed it and waxed it..

So much for getting the first dent out of the way NOT And to top it off it took all day for them to do this and the service manager told me he had one of his best guys do this and not an " oil change guy". guess this tells me what to expect for warranty work in the future...

Also they offer a free car wash with every service.. NOT DONE " I thought it was done" He was looking at another Truck

I can live with that. When will there be more information about the 2016 Sierra?

Had a 2007 Sierra Denali. Then, it was one of the first in Europe, pick up trucks are stil very rare in Europe. And if you see one it is almost always a Ram.

I'm planning to buy a 2016 Sierra Denali, or a F150 platinum. ( The Denali looks better)

but as an outsider, it seems like there are more problems with the Sierra (I read forums and consumer reviews)

I finally had the upgrade done. Didn't tell the wife and specifically waited until dark to run an errand with her. She asked if I had done something to the headlights, because everything was brighter. So there is definitely an improvement to the untrained and unaware eye. :)

    • From what I gather, you have a 2.7 Diesel  You cannot use Chevron gas in it.  Howes has a diesel add-in and it states it cleans injectors.  Me personally, wouldn't bother with it.  If it's not broke, don't fix it.     Just my two cents worth.
    • Looking up on the web you can the information that would seem obvious. You asked engine components to do more. You get more wear. The answer is they can last just as long but required more maintenance. Apparently having to change lifters, cam and associated components are maintenance or repairs. In some research the normal life span of valve train components are 80-100 miles with 3-5K miles oil change. So the next logical conclusion would be cost per mile. I use that analogy with my wife all the time with vehicles. My Odyssey is approaching 170K. The cost per mile will go up at 200K with maintenance. Looking at a low cost car. A K-4 with a 10-10 warranty. Selling my Ridgeline that’s about to hit the same maintenance milestone. My argument becomes not only I get worry free driving. But at no cost increases. Because I take the money from my Ridgeline and maintenance savings and other potential savings. I’m driving for free. So tying it with a bow. It makes you wonder. Is this a grand conspiracy by the auto makers? Raise the potential maintenance high enough. Buyers by extended warranty to 100K miles. Do the minimum maintenance required. Trade in at the warranty end. How long should they last? That question is what keeps people up at night. The answer is much more complicated than it used to be.
    • Could you cite your source on this?  I cannot find any reference to the US secretly taking the oil.  I find references that the US helped oil tankers move through the Strait of Hormuz, but nothing about what you're stating.
    • Same thought, also the everything doesn't have the details real photos do (talking about the noise in the photo)
    • Since the media YOU and your buddies are programmed to watch failed to mention this, I'll fill you in.   Trump admitted today that we've grabbed 150 MILLION barrels of oil from the Iranian tankers locked in the Strait by our Navy. We turned off their transponders, took them out to sea in the dark of night since they have zero radar capabilities anymore, offloaded every drop onto another vessel, and put them back by morning so no one was the wiser. That oil has been en-route THROUGHOUT the entire conflict.   Main reason he admitted this is to let even guys on our own side who joined leftists in complaining about the prices that he hears us all, and has taken steps to make sure this didn't spiral into a BAD situation ... just like the mainstream media has been PRAYING would happen, just so they could gloat. Amazes me how these people are rooting for the destruction of THEIR OWN HOME, just to make a President they don't agree with or like look bad! That's next level TDS!   I know your not capable of giving our President the benefit of the doubt, again due to your deep programming, but THIS is why oil never hit $150 a barrel as predicted by your programmers, AND the reason oil continues falling. Like I said before, Trump's got a plan, and this is proof of it. By the end of his term, we're going to be in GREAT shape for a change!   Since I just spent $3,000 this week on #2 heating oil and gasoline, the war most certainly is ending! 🤣   https://mxmnews.com/article/ba359ac9-2711-4851-92de-187f2400f2dd?breaking-trump-cancels-iran-strikes-deal-now-approved-by-all-parties
