Has WeatherTech lost its touch?

My weathertechs fit my 15 well... I dunno.. I don't have any issues with them.

I have the WTs in mine, based on your pics it looks like you may is canted to the right in the back and not seated on the retainer clips properly, My driver side mat fits fine, the edges on my passenger side keeps getting deformed and slide around. The back fits perfectly. I've thought about selling my fronts and getting the Hisky Contours. The GM liners look nice but I don't like how the area under the gas pedal is exposed.

They WT shipped with plastic clips that "pop" into the receiving holes of the liner, which, in turn have receiving holes for the nubs in the Sierra carpet.

1) The nub diameters in the carpet of the truck are too big (or, better stated, the receiving holes on the retaining clips attached to the WT liner are too small). Thus, the liner, with the plastic clips attached, will not "pop" onto the carpet nubs. So, I removed the clips, and the liner holes without the clips to fit on the carpet nubs. When popped into place, the liner appears in the wrong longitudinal position. The liner is too far aft and interferes with the seat mounting provision. It also appears that the liner, when in position (forced into the position via the nubs) is torqued, and thus warps. It just looks like amateur hour.

2) After reading the comments here, I agree that they have cheapened up the material weight. The wife's '08 Enclave received WTs from Santa that year. I pulled her liner out this evening and compared. The '08 liner is very rigid. The ones I received today are an embarrassment relative to what was being sold back in '07 and '08.

So, these poster board, poorly designed pieces of junk are going back tomorrow.

Time to investigate husky and GM liners.

I sincerely appreciate everyone's input. It's a shame. Gone are the days (they may be long gone) that you can buy a product one year, find it is the class act in the industry, and, then, some years later expect the same. Disappointing, to be sure. Unfortunately, not surprising anymore.

To add insult to injury, WT is one of those companies that flies the "USA flag", which I respect and often seek out. In this case, they are now heading down the wrong road IMO.

Too bad.

Had WT's in my 08, but switched to Husky X's for the new ride after reading the reviews here. A great fit and no issues so far.

I bought new sets for my 15 Tahoe and 16 Sierra. They are by and far the worst quality of all the floor mats either factory or aftermarket. When I called them about the misshapen and terrible fit and finish. They offered to mail me some Velco strips. No more WT for me. Sad because I have had decent service form them in the past.

I got some for my 2015 and they seem to fit fine. I'll have to look closer now that you pointed out the back portion not being snug.

I have WT in my Cruze and they fit like crap. The ones in my Silverado fit really good. Eventually I want to replace the WT in my Cruze with Husky Liners.

I recently got some WTs for my 2012. crew crab. The back seat is good, but very disappointing in the front. The drivers side is folding inward towards the brake pedal up by the emergency brake. Not good. I got them for my mom's piece of crap Hyundai and the front liners are great on it..

Checked when I got in the truck earlier. My mats seem to fit fine. They undulate with the curves of the floorboard, but fit snug. I wouldn't mind a slightly softer material, but they're good enough and seem like they'll last for the life of the truck. Very seamless, professional fit as well, which gives it a good look.

Snapped a few pictures yesterday. As you can see, the front Husky X-ACT's fit like a glove. All the lines match up, they are heavy, quality, and don't feel cheap at all. The rear is a weather tech with the factory mats thrown on top. It fits fairly well, but not like the Husky's.

I am surprised WT doesn't monitor the more popular/credible forums and contact folks that have a reasonable product concern.

Your description referencing "nubs" and "longitudinal fit" convince me it's indeed the mat, not the operator!

There are some threads on here about the floor liners . I think some other people were complaining too about how th WT's fit . I have the Huskys weatherbeaters and they fit like a glove!

That makes two of ud. Love my Weatherbeaters.

I've had WT in an 07 Ram & fit perfectly. Put another set in my wifes 2011 Camry & the front passenger side fits horribly. When I bought liners for my 2014 Silverado, I went with Husky Liners X-ACT fit & these fit like a glove. No more WT for me.
