No, it isn't the 707 hp that the Hellcats get, but 575 hp is nothing to sneeze at. Using a 6.2-liter HEMI V8 and a paddle-shifted 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, Ram says this concept could run 100 MPH off-road. Ram emphasizes this is a factory drivetrain, not a tuner's version.

With 13-inches of travel and 37-inch wheels the Ram Rebel TRX looks the part. It is also six inches wider than the current production Ram.

Ram says that the Rebel TRX concept employs the standard Ram 1500 front axle with an open differential. The CV half-shafts are custom to work with the added width.

Ram explained its rear end, saying, "In the rear, a Dynatrac Pro 60 axle spools power through an electric, selectable locker to 35-spline, 1.5-inch axle shafts. The locker is available in all modes and commits both rear wheels to traction at the same speed, spreads the torque load and maximizes the tractive effort (power put to the ground) in full-throttle maneuvers."

We've seen Ram Rebel concepts in the past. Do you think this one will make it to production?

It should as Ford is getting ready to sell probably every 2017 Raptor it will build. Competition is good! And this has a Hellcat under the hood so its better. V8SC > TTV6.
