What is the best replacement tires for a factory height 2015 z71 cc. I need something quiet but with decent traction. Don't care for the factory Goodyears.

Cooper AT3's are awesome. I just put LT275/70/18's on and they are very quiet and the ride is WAY better than stock. They do not feel like a LT tire. The ride is closer to a highway tire. I'd give rain performance somewhere around 7.5 out of a 10. They were a little difficult to balance on one or two tires but seem fine. Can't say how they are going to wear but they come with a 60k warranty if I remember correctly. I wish I would have put these on the day I got the truck.

Toyo Open Country A/T 2's.

I've had them for 20,000 km and so far they've worn awesome, they're great in the winter and on the back roads. For as aggressive as they are, I think might be a little quieter then the stock SR-As.

I put a set of Continental LX-20's on and have been very happy with them (they come standard on the top-trim Suburban and Yukon Denali). They are not an A/T tire but they are quiet and get plenty of traction in the rain/mud/snow.

I had just under 90,000 miles on the Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my '04 Dodge/Cummins before trading her. Great tires.

Michelin M/S, Toyo AT2, Cooper and Bridgestone Alenza are all good choices. Shop around compare pricing, wear ratings, weights and reviews for all of them.

I had Cooper AT3 in 285/75R/17E on my 2009 1500. I put 40,000 miles on them and then was disappointed in performance in snow after that wear. Being E rated, they rode a little rougher, but did service on lots of shale and gravel, and worked fine. I went to Goodyear Duratracs, in factory 265/75r17, C rated. They got good reviews and do ride nicer but are louder than I expected, and worse mpg than I expected going back to factory size.

What's your intended use and priorities?

I'll second that. AT3's are great tires. I put 50k on a set, and the guy I sold them to was super excited because they had so much more tread than his stockers with 40k, haha. The only reason I didn't go with them again is because their sidewall design is too mild for my taste.

I put 20k on a set of these as well. I loved how they looked (very aggressive for an AT), but they weren't as good in the snow/rain as my Coopers...and they were louder. They were the LT version.

To the OP, check out Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. That's what I'm running now, and I'm very impressed.

All street or do you offroad?

If it's a pavement queen like mine, the Cooper HT3 is hard to beat...excellent dry pavement, excellent wet pavement, and decent on snow, and QUIET. I've got 20k on them and figure I'll get 80k out of them.

I had ATPs, which are the same as AT3s, and they were noisy.

I installed the cooper at3 on my 2006 Sierra. They had over 50k on them when I traded the truck in. They were quiet and smooth. I did get a couple flats in one tire but they were p metric so not as tough as the LTs. I decided to go with the Falken wildpeak at3w on my new truck. They are smooth and very quiet. A little rougher ride but I went with the LT version so it is to be expected.

When you order new tires, do you need to order new TPMS sensors? Or will the original ones on the wheel now work?
