I saw those to. Yes, I like them but I wouldn't get them in 22's. Totally would rock them in 17's with some gnarly mud grips.

I'm assuming it's a transport wheel. Bizarre that it's a 22

I assume so they don't have to spend money on a separate set of tires that will be used for nothing but transport.

You are correct. The 22" wheels are too fragile to live through transport without getting damaged.

I don't get the big wheel thing that's so popular. I understand fancy/cool looking wheels but not being so huge.
